After waiting a year for service (calling off and on) finally got a service tech to the home. Dalton is excellent. Knows the product and provides great education on the use and safety of the furnace. The 4 is only because of the wait, but the service tech is excellent. He is a "5".

Possibly the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Their customer service sucks and their attitude is even worse. Won't respond to text, email, or phone calls. Can't meet a schedule to save their lives. Gave them one star only because no stars wasn't an option. Avoid them like the plague because that is how they will treat you.

I bought a Harmon P68 pellet stove from this family run business. They diveried it today. I could not ask for nicier people, they have great pricing, and delivery was spotless. They even ran back to their own store when a small part (accent piece) was forgotten! The best part is the feeling you get when you know if this stove ever needs service, your in good hands. Thank you to Alaska Company of Moosic, Pa who made my wife and I warm and happy again.

I would never go back to this place. The woman said she would help me was asking questions about my home then preceded to tell me that I could not use a pellet or gas stove to heat my home even though it was not a large sq. Footage as a primary heat source. She basically began telling which models I could have and which ones i could not have because the BTU's were too high. That should be my decision not hers! Then let me know that they would come out and assess my house and decide what i could and could not have. I have been doing a lot of shopping and visiting a lot of fireplace stores. No other store treated me like they did! I felt like I walked into a police state. I live in America where I decide what I will and will not have not some self-entitled sales clerk.

Call this company with the location in moosic.I was Inquiring some technical support And the only answer I got from the person that picked up the phone was, what model was my pellet stove . After I reply they responded that I need to get a dealer that deal with my stove and hang up.Well I guess they don't want to sell stove. Because if you can come yo a customer house and there stove is not worth it to fix it.You next step is for you to guide them to the selection available in your store.I guess if I own a Ford vehicle I can only take it to ford to get fix....

Please do not spend your money here! We bought a two sided fireplace for our lake house. A few months ago, the glass EXPLODED and noone was hurt. Alaska attempted 3 times to fix and/or address but each time, made excuses about obsolete models, couldn’t get parts etc. etc but promised to replace it. We heard many excuses but over a year later, we had no replacement, fix, or answer, and had to find another company to service our fireplace. We are thoroughly disappointed in this company and would not recommend.

My experience with Alaska Company was fantastic. Everything we needed, they provided. Whether it was answering questions about different options, site visits, giving expert opinions, they were on target with everything - and very kind and patient along the way. Our project was a tad more complicated than most as we diverted heat from the main fireplace to our basement movie theater; and they set it up so you can control the amount of flow going from the fireplace upstairs to the basement. They really did an incredible job.

These people are very bad and greedy. They ripped me off for $200. Their phone always has "full message" and they don't even answer the phone. Every time I needed to communicate I had to get in my car and drive there. Then when they delivered an incomplete stove with a part missing and I said to return it, as It was supposed to have grids on bottom but had instead a solid base. This is when a monopoly fails, customer service is absolutely NONE and the owner? He doesn’t want to acknowledge your existence or go one step beyond to help you figure out an issue. So, so unhelpful and completely nonchalant.

If I stoled this stove from them I would take it back I don't know what happened to the Alaskan company but to sell me a stove with no blower controls either on or off is ridiculous and you have 2 go through the telephone lines and grab people by the throat to get back to you I will go next time back to keystoker stoves if I stoled this stove from them I
