Pretty golf course and a hidden gem near Pittsburgh International Airport. The first third of the front 9 is not exactly eye-catching, but from hole 4 onwards, that massively changes. You're surrounded by hills and scenic views of Moon Township, and the holes progressively get nicer. Number 7 has quite the interesting split fairway. Number 8 has a water hazard that goes way downhill and then proceeds uphill. Lastly, number 9 has an island like green and lots of trees on your left to keep away from. You will find your fair share of challenges here, and it's a pretty course as well. The only reason it's not a 5 is that the first 3 holes were kind of boring.

Always a great place to golf. It's a shorter hilly course but lots of difficult holes. give the grounds crew 5 stars for the shape of the course.

Best wings in Pittsburgh. Some days I feel Ike it's the best ever anywhere but that might not be believable. Only downside is that the price skyrocketed in the last few years so it isn't as accessible like before.

Had enough of this course. Always overbooked. Disorganized with how they book tee times. Always pairing walkers and riders together which makes absolutely no sense. Too many stellar courses around to settle for this garbage track. Will never be back trust me.

I’ve gone 3 times hoping it would be better but all 3 times I got attitude from the proshop attendant. The course isn’t too bad but I don’t support places with rude staff. Never going back.

Had a terrible experience at this course. The manager in the shop is extremely unfriendly to the point where you'll never want to return, simply because of him. This is also your classic beer drinkers golf course so stay away if you're looking for a real golf experience. Took my 15yr old son who loves golf, and numerous beer drinking golfers blasting music and cross firing golf balls. Big disappointment. Please stay away if you love the game of golf and what it stands for because this place is the opposite.

This course always seems to be in great shape. It's on the shorter side but is still challenging nonetheless. Bring your A game around the green because you will need it.

Rude staff, poor & disorganized planning on their part. Booked a tee time to walk 9 holes. We offered to take a cart if it’d be easier but they assured us walking was fine. Teed off on time, a large group teed off immediately behind us all riding in carts and even hit into us on the second hole. We were scolded by staff and told twice we needed to hurry up… so we rushed through the next two holes and ended up catching up to the people in front of us anyways. We finished walking 9 holes in exactly two hours which is the average time to play 9 with a cart. They stacked three large groups of 6+ people immediately behind us but blamed us for not moving fast enough. Could’ve been handled better… you can only move so fast while walking ??♀️??♀️

Will not answer phone for tee times. You have to make times online. When you get there, they won't let you use their coupon because you paid with a credit card online.

Look it’s a muni so caveat emptor. Also the bar for munis in the Burgh is very low. But this place is a lot of fun. The price is great. Carts good. Course conditions always decent. It’s short with small greens but it’s well maintained and loved. The service has always been good. It’s just good inexpensive fun.

Not good. Paired with three other people who were riding and I paid for walking. Didn’t make sense.

I golf here about 3/4 times a week. Really great and fun course. The staff take tremendous care of the course and all of the greens. The greens are some of the fastest, most sloped greens that I've played in PA - a real challenge to read. Tremendous value for how well the course is upkept. Staff inside the pro shop are pleasant and easy to chat with. The slight downside is, depending on the timing, it can be overbooked. Weekday afternoon and weekend rounds can be slower than usual, but I think that is to be expected at any course. A lot of blind shots where if people aren't careful, it can lead to others getting hit. Hole 5, 6, 14, and 16 are side by side, so it can get very hectic around those holes.Overall, I wouldn't choose to play any where else in the area. I'm perfectly happy coming to Moon every single time.

The golf course is in excellent shape! Kudos to the grounds crew. The restaurant has new menu items, you won't be disappointed!
