AVOID THIS PLACE –
Took my F 250 truck here because I bought it from Paul Thomas, when in Tunkhannock, who I’ve reciprocally done business with for 35 years. Paul is a great guy but understand that he is not active anymore.
Took 9 weeks to get appointment to replace RH exhaust manifold gasket which I knew would be a difficult task and to repair minor problem with tow haul control. When I called I asked the service manager about and estimate acknowledging the difficulty of the job. He told me it would be about a couple hundred dollars. I knew this couldn’t be and told him of the known difficulty of the job which is why I brought it to a Ford dealer. I dropped the truck off with a letter and keys on a Sunday requesting a price for the job. I never got a replay but got a shocking bill for over $1500 (which I was not prepared for) and was told they broke the running board which they replaced. Two broken bolts occurred during the manifold replacement which is not unusual. Truck was there for two weeks. Picked up the truck and left cash money on the counter and left. Facility seems dismal and perhaps water is circling in the drain? Thomas’ were good people but I don’t know what’s happening. No management seemed present and no one cared. I’m not stranger to the automotive business and was a boat dealer for many years. I would never drive 40 miles to come back here. A Real shame! They have no cars in stock which tells you something

I don’t have anything bad to say about Montrose Motors. It’s your typical small town car dealer. They aren’t as flashy as the bigger Ford dealers in the area and they may not have the inventory, but you get more of that personal touch that isn’t found at the big guys. I have no complaints with them. Don’t let the old building scare you, good people work there.

Have purchased every single vehicle from the ownership of this & prior dealership which total approximately 40. My daughter who lives in Florida has made trips to the dealership on numerous occasions to purchase a Ford vehicle as well. They give the ultimate service and are always there to lend assistance. I live in Scranton area, & the trip for service as well purchases has always been worthwhile even though the trip is a bit out of the way. The service is fantastic as well as the deals & most importantly is owned by caring & honest people. Once you try this dealership I promise you will be like me, being a returning customer for years to come. Try them, & you will also be a life long customer.

Had an appointment for a recall on my wife's car for 3:00 PM. Arrived 1/2 an hour early as I misjudged the drive time since it was my first time there. They took me in right away, finished the recall, had my paperwork done, and had me back on the road before 3:00! Very nice folks and accommodating.
