We have never had a problem~they deliver promptly and, our driveway being a challenge in bad weather, they make sure we get our propane if needed soon, before a big storm.

I called to setup a business account with superior 2 weeks ago and last Tuesday 1-25 they were supposed to fill the tank but failed to call me and notified a block on one of the tank legs was off. I just called and The lady on the phone accused me of knowing when I had just bought the property and had no knowledge and assumed the tank was filled. It’s now Saturday 1-29 and the tank is nearly empty..They still can’t fill it and the lady couldn’t give me a date and just said it’ll take 5-7 business days… I literally called 2 weeks ago and said I needed the tank filled…

I will share my experience. I had just bought my house in 2013 and Superior had a tank in my back yard. New to propane appliances at the time I had a Superior tech check everything out. Everything checked out and I paid the bill. About a month later it got cold outside and I decided to start the gas fireplace. Thinking everything was fine because I paid Superior to make sure things were fine I attempted to light the insert. After a couple tries the fireball burned off my eye brows, singed my nose hairs, toasted my eye lids and took a considerable amount of hair off the top of my head and cheeks. The tech never noticed that the previous owner of the house disconnected the gas line to the insert so I opened a line that vented directly into the house. As mad as I was I told them to come get their tank and I was having another installed. The woman on the phone told me I would lose my home insurance by going with another supplier. I expected better service than this since the very first person I spoke to seemed professional. The very last person I spoke to at Superior cemented in my opinion the very worst service I ever received.

I started using oil last year and needed it immediately and this place I thought was my only option. I used them again after that twice. The second time around my line needed bled and I couldn't do it. They told me they would charge me the after hours price for someone to come out. (The guy that put oil in had JUST pulled away) also the place charges $250 flat, no counting what needs done. I have a 9 month old and had just spent my last 300 after the shut down and trying to get caught back up on the oil. It was 22 degrees and my house was 47 degrees. My gauge wasnt working so I didn't know we were almost out. Don't waste your time with a company that will allow a house to be 47 degrees with a 9 month old because you don't have another $300 to pay them to get an air bubble out. I was crying because I was scared I wouldn't have heat for my baby. The lady who answered the phone laughed and told me that wasn't their problem and as I'm trying to get myself together, she lets out a giant sigh and hangs up on me. I also forgot the mention it was 2pm on a Wednesday.
REEDER BROTHERS IS AMAZING!!!!! Not only did they bleed my line for free, they filled my tank up the rest of the way for free. (6/8 of a tank) Reeder brothers is also about $1.10 less per gallon! Save yourself the trouble with this company. You are just numbers and money to them.

Superior Plus is too High priced when compared to competitors. My Mom paid $3.219 per gallon and a service/hazmat charge of $9 for delivery. Her 275 gallon tank was only 1/4 full when they refilled and it cost her $622. If she would have known the pricing before they filled she would have gone with the competitor and paid $2.469 per gallon and only paid $470. I feel she was cheated as she lost $150 dollars on this fill up. I don't know how much she lost over the long haul with Superior Plus. Please shop and save before you decide to have Superior Plus fill your tanks with propane or home heating oil. I am so disappointed in myself for not looking into this company before now as I could have helped my Mom to save a lot of money on home heating oil. 4/9/18
Followup on 5/1/18
After discussion with the Manager at the Howard Office of Superior Plus my Mother was issued a reimbursement as Superior matched the competitors price and Mom ended up paying only $470 for the Home Heating oil. The $9 hazmat/delivery fee was not removed from the billing. The reimbursement was not expected but does help with my mothers finances. My Mother has switched to another Home heating oil supplier. I will reassess Superior Plus at 3 stars/Average.
