The grounds look nice and clean. The hallways in the units are well lit. Parking is plentiful. Jamie is amazing and so helpful! She was a lifesaver helping us navigate an overseas shipping crate. 10 stars for her!!!!

I have been with Montgomeryville’s 4Storage4You for 32 years, and believed myself their longest tenant until I learned of others last month with 34 and 36 years. In all that time – in both their outdoor and climate-controlled units, and in both their main and annex buildings -- I have had zero issues in all the things a self-storer might worry about: no moisture, no vermin, no dilapidations, no subsidence, no gate failures/lock-ins/lock-outs, no billing snafus, no problem neighbors and no thefts or vandalism. More recently 4Storage has taken on a trendy brand with a 21st century flair and a dynamite manager-deputy manager pair: Jamie Kohler and Shawna Williams. Wanting to reallocate items between the two units I keep with them, and having a narrow on-site window given my expatriate residency, I needed some help with things like temporary locks, hand trucks, moving carts and a staging area where I could properly sort through my belongings. The two bent over backward to provide all of this and as a result what I thought would take me 4 days required only 2. Jamie and Shawna make you feel like a real customer too – they treat storage as a matter of personal value and not as some backdrop utility product. Their properties are neat and clean, both freshly painted and with shiny tarmac; they receive daily inspections including small personal touches like a hello from their security vehicle or graphite for your padlock to ensure no seizing in winter. The annex offers a large outdoor storage area (for those with boats, campers, trailers and classic cars – I’ve even seen a classic bus or two over the years) while the main building has a clever design with stepdown units and super-drains to ensure robust long-term storage in this era of Climate Change. I can also say (thanks to my 100+ visits over 3 decades) that 4Storage4You’s clientele is as varied as the size and positioning of units they offer. There is something nice in meeting local householders same as small businesses and agencies who store on a permanent basis, as well as folks availing of storage for their practical interim needs; i.e. for house moves, downsizings, relocations, retirements, marriage-divorce, death-in-family, university terms and military deployment/foreign postings such as my own. Storage is arguably a need as old as humanity itself and a good facility will thrive on the diversity of its user community, with a management team who understands the needs of individual tenants, and with a helping hand never far away (to wit, how many times my neighbor tenants and I have swapped tools, or assisted each other with furniture, or even tipped a glass or two on a summer’s day). So if you’re looking for a place that is friendly and affordable but also well-maintained and super-secure, this has been my choice since 1992.

From the first contact via phone the process of renting the unit was seamless. The staff even went the extra mile to ensure the unit would be the correct size for my vehicle. And the follow up calls to ensure my satisfaction was amazing!
