This is a small town, family owned pizza shop. They are very friendly and make great pizza. I wish I lived closer, we'd have pizza every weekend!

Friendly people, disappointing quality. Menu prices are inaccurate, so be sure to ask before you order. Mainly a take-out place with just 1 table inside. Pizza flavor was lacking.

I have been enjoying bertonis pizza for exactly 20 years now. There can be plenty of debate by pizza lovers as to what makes a pizza great, for me it is the dough and how well it is risen , when cooked does it get a crispy , fully cooked crust while maintaining a soft and chewy inside and can it absorb the grease released by the cheese and pepperoni ( only way to eat a pizza besides anchovy and pepperoni). The answer is bertonis has the best crust in as far of an area that I am aware of. In my house we fight over the crust. We unfriend anyone who says they don't eat crust. And a calzone, my wife and I start at the closed dough end for each and usually have middle with toppings left because the dough is that special. The owners are dedicated to their families and their business 1st and 2nd. And haven't deviated from that compass once since I have known them. Some reviewers ask for more hours of operation. I live close by and observe the work hours that Mark and family put in . It is darn near 24 hours a day starting day before they open each week through all open hours. Would the dough stay perfect in production if Father and son hired outside of family. Not very likely. I will take perfect crust when they can offer it / over maybe not always perfect but always available.,,, Forever please... And thank you be smart order early on the weekends there is a reason they are super busy don't expect them to do more to accommodate you. Do more to help them stay a diamond in the rough. Family owned small business with morals and good values and ethics.

This place makes pizzas from scratch. It was a nice small setting to walk into. Friendly staff and even better food. I got a large 16 inch pizza with extra cheese and pepperoni and a large cheeseburger pizza (had to try something different.). The pizza sauce is delicious. The cheese had that pull you only see in movies. I also tried their mozz sticks which were amazing as well. Heard they had decent subs which i will be trying my next visit. Kinda sucks that they are only open friday through sunday but hey if its been working for the past 30 years then why change it? This place is just phenominal.

One of the better pizza joints in the area. Why go dominoes or pizza hut when this is one of several way better tasting local business options?
