Sara, my technician, was very thorough and told me what she was going to do with the machines. Doctor Woodley told me in detail about the type of glasses I needed what I needed. At the end once I picked out my frames, Greg told me what is covered on my insurance and helped me get the best price.I recommend visionworks to everyone

I had been a satisfied customer of Visionworks in Havertown, PA for a long time before moving to the suburbs east of Pittsburgh. They were professional & responsive even though they were always very busy.
It was natural I would visit the local Visionworks in Monroeville when I needed an eye exam. My exam went well. The store was empty. I was surprised to learn though that they had no ability to get records from my previous Visionworks location in order to compare retinal imaging.
It took me about 4 minutes when I got home to call and have records forwarded. I was not told what the comparison was even though I was assured I would be. I also have not been able to have them forward a referral to another doctor even though I called twice to ask them.
That was my last visit to a Visionworks.

Went in for a regular exam and the doctor said I had a retinal detachment went to another doctor and found nothing wrong with me the doc here tried to send me the next day to get surgery for nothing caused me so big of a pain for nothing never again will I be back

My husband and I just got back from Visionworks. It was, by far, the most efficient eye/glasses excursion we've ever experienced. Not only do they take walk-ins, but they also take most insurance, including Medicaid. They took us back right away. For both of us to get eye exams and pick out and order frames took only an hour and ~$600 (for three frames, including one pair sunglasses and one pair transitions). This was ideal, since we had our 15-week-old baby with us, who tends to be a ticking time bomb in his stroller. Staff was nice and doctor was super knowledgeable and animated. No complaints here!
