First time at this branch office. I will NEVER go here again. I wanted to cash a check, and the teller said she couldn't cash it and would have to check with the manager! Why? I had 3 times the amount of the check in my account!. So I left and went to Blairsville branch. No questions asked. Cashed the check!obranch

The service at EVERY other branch is fast and friendly, and I wish I could say the same for here. My work is within walking distance and I still get in my car and will literally drive out of my way to any other branch. It pains me when I am unable to make it to another one and have to go here. I’ve been a going here for three years and just they’re as unpleasant to a familiar face as they were the day I walked in as a new customer. Take your business elsewhere.

I was making a deposit at the Monroeville branch for a nonprofit church. The teller seemed annoyed that I had a lot of change and acted rude. I told her I had wrapped what could be wrapped when she asked. She then asked me to take the change out and count it for her. Isn’t that her job? Most of the tellers here are usually nice. I’ve never had a teller ask me to count change anywhere before. For the record, this is not where I do my personal banking!

I have been dealing with S&T for over 15 years (mainly Monroeville location), and have always had a great experience until recently. I accidentally put money into the wrong checking (Irwin location), and happened to call the Monroeville location to have the money switched to the correct account. The lady on the phone was extremely rude and said that I needed to call the 1-800 number to do this. This is after the fact that I had already spoken to someone who said they could transfer it without an issue. The money had not shown up in my account which was my reason for calling a second time. Very poor customer service and the only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because normally everyone I deal with is very friendly.

The middle aged African American gentleman that helped me cash my inheritance check today was wonderful. Im sorry I forgot his name. He was very professional even though he had to do a very thorough job checking my identity. He asked another employee with long dark hair a question and she was very unpleasant and rude. He remained positive. What a great employee. An asset. Thank you for making my transaction easy.
