VETCO, a mobile clinic held at Petco, was an outstanding choice for getting my 7-year-old Shorkie, Mowgli, a full body exam, bloodwork, checked for heartworm, and vaccinated. Because of his small size, his vaccines have to be administered with time in between. We will return in two weeks to get the remainder of Mowgli’s shots. They took extra precautions to ensure Mowgli's safety and comfort throughout the exam, without the need for sedatives or Benadryl. Additionally, they went the extra mile by rechecking his heartworm test to confirm it was negative. This is a great alternative to a full pet hospital or veterinarian clinic, with pricing that is comparable if not cheaper.

Petco in Monroeville usually always has what I need, making it the perfect place to pick up all my pet supplies. The store is well-stocked with a wide variety of products, ensuring I can find everything from food and toys to accessories and health items. Their great customer service is a big plus, with the staff always being helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Whether I'm shopping for my dog, cat, or smaller pets, Petco in Monroeville has it covered. It's my go-to spot for all my pet needs. Four stars!

Would not make this a destination. There were only three customers in the store, including me. I had trouble finding the brand of dog food that I wanted, which I'm sure I had bought here before, but no one was around to even ask other than going to the register. I wanted to make a quick trip in and out.
When I picked something else for a temporary supply until I got what my dog usually eats, I went to the register. The open register was backed up with the other two customers because the system was down. I went to a second register that they opened, but same issue. The first register finally started to work, slowly, after rebooting; but the second one wasn't working. I ended up having to go to the first register to check out. It took longer to get through the check-out than it did to shop - even though I looked up and down every aisle to see if I could find my choice (never did). By the time I got to the register and listened to the employees trying to get the registers back on-line, I didn't bother to ask about the brand I missed.
I won't make this a destination stop for my pet supplies.

I get my cat litter refills here. Good price, no scented. They have everything you need for cats, dogs, gerbils, hamsters, reptiles and more. You can bring your dog in on a leash for a fun outing on a rainy day.

No longer carry batteries for my bark collar because they no longer sell the bark collars. Also quit carrying my dog's favorite toys. So.....no reason to return very soon unless they change things.

I use the groomers here. They are pretty great. And they communicate in advance. So if your groomer is sick, they will let you know before you show up for your appointment.

Only went in when my car broke down don't normally stop at a petco but the place was clean animals well taken care of stuff was stocked and staff was friendly and helpful ?
