I recently took my dog, Vinny, and I couldn’t be happier. The staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. The vet patiently answered my questions and provided thorough advice. Vinny is anxious at the vet, but their gentle approach helped to keep him calm. Highly recommend for exceptional, caring service!

Have always enjoyed the vets at Murrysville. Recently had a wellness appointment with my dog, who is ornery and needs to be drugged to attend the vet, so he remains calm. The staff was willing to work out a plan with me for his treatment needed and shots and it went very smoothly.

I have been taking my dogs here for three years now. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. I trust the staff here. I find it very helpful they have evening and weekend hours to fit into my schedule. Dr. Edwards is really kind to my dogs and really willing to answer questions and take time with her clients. Really thankful to all the staff for their care and concern. :)

I rescued a shih tsu(or he rescued me) who is now 11 years young. I made 3 apps to have him seen for a severe ear infection. 3 different doctors could no ft solve the problem. So I made an appointment with Dr. Merchant at MVA. I can't believe there are so many wonderful and caring folks who are working to help our best friends. They are all. Great but Dr Merchon solved Toby's ear problem in one visit. She is super and I am grateful for her and the whole staff. What a caring place to bring your pets.

We have used MVA since it first opened as a fear free facility. Dr. Miller has always provided thorough and compassionate exams and consultations for both routine and complex care of our cats. She provides additional information when we want to learn more. Dr. Miller has referred us to specialists when we agree with her that a second opinion by a specialist would help. She has always discussed our concerns as fully as we desire to enable us to make fully informed decisions for maintaining good quality of life for our pets. Dr. Miller and staff are always also respectful of our feelings as well as those of our pets. All of vets and staff are exceptionally kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. MVA offers the highest quality state-of-the-art compassionate veterinary care.

My 2 cats were new patients of MVA this past week. The staff was very friendly and professional. They were able to update both cat’s vaccinations with neither cat making a peep. The place was very clean and we were seen almost immediately, very short wait. . I think my Tango and Simba have found a great place that will keep them healthy. Thx

As a first time puppy owner, this staff made me feel so comfortable during her first visit! Everyone is so welcoming and personable! I left the visit so happy I found a vet that truly cares and explained everything so I could understand. I couldn’t recommend them more!

I highly recommend MVA. The staff is very nice and accommodating, but I want to especially acknowledge Dr. Wong who has gone above and beyond with the care of our Yellow Lab and her mysterious issues. Dr. Wong is very thorough and caring and is always reachable when I have a question. I am so glad we found MVA and Dr. Wong after moving to PA.

I’m not normally one to make bad reviews, but I don’t want the same thing that happened to me to happen to anyone else. I have a bearded dragon named Lenni who was having ongoing health issues for months. Although i really liked the exotic vet, it was apparent to me that she did not have much knowledge about bearded dragons, but still, I thought with consulting other vets and the lab, that we could work through Lenni’s health issues together. I’ve spent well over $800 in fees for vet visits, fecal samples, medications and blood work and imaging. After the initial fecal sample, the vet found that she had a parasite. She treated her with anti biotic for two weeks. After two weeks, she seemed better until she started to decline the week thereafter. I took another fecal sample to the vet (which was around $130 each fecal sample) and it came back that she still had parasites so the vet put her on anti biotic for another two weeks. Once again, she did better for about a week and then declined again. After that, I figured that it must not be the parasite and I asked the vet if we could skip to blood work and imaging instead of spending another $130 to get another fecal sample tested. This time, the vet “suspected” that she had fatty liver disease (which isn’t the case at all). I had a feeling this wasn’t right and I found another vet to get a second opinion. Right away, he tested her fecal and told me she still had a parasite. He told me with the specific parasite that she had (and the same one she had for months on end) that parasite could not be cured with anti biotic, only suppressed and that the amount of anti biotics that were given to her was not good for her. That is why she continuously got better then a week after sick again. Now that I’ve seen this new vet and he gave me medication to actually kill the parasite, she is doing so much better. Not only did this vet put me in a financial crisis, but they also weren’t even treating my baby with the things they needed to treat her with. I highly recommend exotic pet owners, do not use this vet.

We are very happy that we found MVA! The entire staff were kind and very helpful. They were very thorough and made sure there was a plan in place for our dogs recovery. The stress free environment is amazing for our girl who gets very worked up when she goes to the vet. The office is clean and inviting, would highly recommend.
