I took 5 minutes to go in n out and got a hoagie made to order and everything needed to make fresh wedding soup and didn't break a 50 for everything in bulk and fresh even mini meatballs spinach carrots celery brothers ect. Employees are always kind fast and helpful”
“This place has a fresh great tasting fruit and produce. I shopped here for over 30 years. I buy from them as much as i can. I lived in blawnox and went here to buy everything i need because the product at the larger commercial stores is not any good. I was there yesterday. The staff are great. They are knowledgeable about what they sell and pleasant to be around. I talked with the owner's son about a product called Sorgrum which piqued his intrest, and he wanted to know more. They also support local businesses such as Russleton honey makers. If you want fresh produce, i recommend John & Jerry's produce”

100 Aldi Dr, North Versailles“Best store to grab fruits and vegetables. My last stop in I was having issues at the register and took some time to get an employee to help, or I would have given 5 stars.”
“The delivery driver named Travis has gone above and beyond his job many times by assisting me when he delivers to us ..... always smiling and friendly...... makes me want to order more and more..... just a great guy and really great to have him add a good thing to sometimes a blah day..... Thanks Jordan Banana and thank Travis..... you rock !”
“at Aldi I have come to expect to see cilantro for 89 cents but just recently I noticed they started carrying parsley. Two types of fresh herbs they sell throughout the year! Product variety is very small. They carry one or two brands, often store brands, of something. Produce is good, fresh, and cheap, and except for the stockers' tendency to throw everything (apples, potatoes, mangos, into to the bin) which I have seen done at ALL stores in the Pgh area. They carry a lot of frozen vegan items, as well as things like cauliflower dough pizza, tofu, etc. I like their flexibility to open up a new lane (listen and learn, Giant Eagle). Prices are sometimes 30-40% lower than the Yost Blvd Giant Eagle up the street. Their cart area is always all trashed out and someone needs to be go there everyday cleaning up the area.”
“People here have always been very kind and they do make an effort to make sure the lines don't get too crazy. Been coming here for about 6 years now and I can't think of a negative interaction during that time.”
“Very good experience today. Had everything I was looking for, even had Rao's sauce that I did not expect to find. My cashier was extremely nice and very helpful.”

16 Federal Dr, Penn Hills“If you've seen documentaries about budget grocery, you're probably getting a fair idea that the way the world works now isn't ideal for a lot of service crews, including PHC Aldi. At the end of the day, the people make the place: The management has always been as helpful as available, the staff are kind and real, and I've never had a problem finding help or finding something at the store. Good stuff.”

127 E 7th Ave, Homestead“Cheap yet good quality groceries. This particular Aldi is very busy, yet the lines and crowds are usually manageable. Staff are nice enough (and get to sit while they ring you up, yay human rights).
Lots to see and do in the area. It's the Waterfront, after all.”

8775 Norwin Ave, North Huntingdon“As far as Aldi stores go, this one is pretty good. They always have a variety of produce, it isn't always in the best condition, the organic celery is never up to par for example, it's typically bruised and brownish. Sometimes the mixed greens lettuce has old pieces in it. It's not bad enough to prevent me from shopping produce there, it's just something that I look out for. They have all the other typical aldi stuff, the specialty cheeses are great. They also have tons of different types of dips and salsas. The meat section is pretty good, but make sure you put your meat in one of the plastic bags they have nearby, because the racks that the refrigerated meat products are stored on is absolutely nasty. In the freezer section there's a huge freezer across the floor with specialty freezer items. This is PA, so there's unfortunately no alcohol section here, for those coming from out of state. But I don't hold that against Aldi.”
“Prices are definitely better than (for example) Giant Eagle for comparable products (e.g., chicken thighs being something like 40% less). However, the range of products is pretty limited (e.g., dried spices didn't include things like garlic powder, very limited produce, etc.).I'll go back for meats, but will definitely have to complete my shopping elsewhere on most occasions.”
