Haven't used them in a while but seeing the low rating due to not many reviews, and using them several times over many years and never having a complaint, I feel they deserve a rating from me. My sister recommended contemporary over 10 years ago. Hopefully y'all are still worthy of the 5 stars. Lol

Been with this family owned company for over a decade. Have always taken care of me. When Progressive didn't want to give me the full value of my total loss, they personally got involved and I received what I was entitled to.

Can't say that they were over attentive about the account. Never even offered other accounts. Do not recommend for first time home owners.

Do not get insurance through them they will send your paperwork to penn dott as if you don’t have insurance if you don’t renew with them they only care about the money

My husband and I have been using Contemporary Insurance since around 2013. Our auto rates have continuously gone down and Jamie is very helpful/informative about the different offers. We were recommended to them by a used car dealership an the rates for Auto an renters have always been great! I got a renters quote from another broker that was really good an Jamie was honest an said go with the other broker for that but I've never had another broker give me better auto insurance rates that Contemporary.

What an amazing family run company!! I started out with CIA when I moved away to college and purchased my first vehicle 20 years ago - I have been with them since. They have seen us through vehicle, renters and homeowners insurance. They have always been there with any questions, comments or concerns we have had. They have called us when any issues and/or discounts/benefits became available to us. I'll be honest to say that when my husband and I moved back to our hometown, we considered switching to someone close but we found no one who offered better rates or who we felt comfortable with. I am thankful to have CIA on our side and plan on going no where. I refer everyone who has insurance inquiries to them. No hesitation AT ALL!

After 40+years of driving without any at fault driving accidents, I had my first accident. It was such a nerve wrecking experience. Fortunately when I called Contemporary Insurance Agency, they were so understanding and took so much time speaking with me, calming me down and giving instruction on next steps and what I could expect. Its been 11+ years since I changed insurance agents, fortunately I do not have much cause to interact with my Insurance Company of choice. When the need to reach out arose in my life, I was certainly happy for the folks at Contemporary. A first rate A+ experience.

I recently moved to FL and when I changed my address I found that the insurance company I had, Grange, was not licensed to write in FL. That meant I had to switch companies. Therefore I had to call my old agent, Contemporary, and cancel. Previously I've never really dealt directly with them as I used the website and always could call the insurance company's number. After about 2 weeks of calling and never getting through and not receiving a call back I finally was able to get the agent's attention through email. I simply asked what date the date I should make my cancelation effective as I would rather not continue to make another payment and then have to receive a refund. I was told he was unable to tell me and that I should call the insurance company. I had already spoken to the insurnace company twice and they said I would have to speak with him. He also responded rudely that I should ensure I could even get insurance because I've had an accident and a DUI and that I shouldn't worry about a few bucks. I had previously explained to him that I had moved and the insurance I had was not valid for FL. The whole time this was all through email and he was very rude and completly unhelpful. I would never have thought of dropping insurance except that I moved out of state. I do not understand why I had to go through so many hoops and be treated so incredibly rude to cancel my policy with him. I would recommend anyone to stay away from this Agency.
