Service was horrible. Said the car needed $3200+ in repairs some of which were needed to pass inspection. It wasn't until the customer service was so horrible (not calling me back, unclear answers and my service tech taking the day off so my car just sat there) that it prompted me to take the car elsewhere. I ended up paying $95 for the inspection from a reputable service department. The car was fine and didn't need any of the repairs A&L BMW Service indicated it needed. Go elsewhere if you want to save thousands of dollars and receive better customer service. I am glad I eventually did.

REVIEW SERVICE DEPARTMENTI'm a new BMW owner and thus I'm not super familiar with how everything works with my car yet. Although, I decided to have my car's oil change for the 1st time at A&L and the staff were "somewhat" friendly. Although I will say there was one particular individual that stood out to me (Lincoln Davis, Concierge). Upon arriving for my scheduled appointment, Lincoln was the perfect example of customer service. He offered me water, etc with a smile. He seemed genuinely interested in my comfort and level of care. Although, my assigned service advisor/agent seemed to be annoyed with my many questions and concerns. Overall, he just didn't seem like he cared but to give me the bill and show me where to pay -- absolutely no smile whatsoever!! Maybe that's how he is but if you're in the car business , you've got to be a people person and express a lot of attentiveness, right?! For me, that's what keeps me coming back. I'm willing to pay the extra $$ if I know I'm NOT going to be taken advantage of and I genuinely feel appreciated. Not just blow me off- because you're having a bad day and/or you're juggling more than you can handle!! Believe me, I had a few more questions to ask but I didn't bother with him or even know who else to ask. Maybe it's too soon to decide if I want to return so that's why I gave 2 stars. However, I'm more than willing to change my review depending on my next service visit.REVIEW PARTS & ACCESSORIES DEPARTMENTNow, I will mention the parts department was very helpful and kind.REVIEW CUSTOMER WAITING AREAAnd the customer waiting area was AMAZING!! I mean they had a lot of great refreshments available.REVIEW ONLINE SCHEDULING SYSTEMMy next review is about how the online scheduling service is handled. Yeah, you can make an appointment online with your requested date and time from their calendar. However it's not a guarantee, someone is suppose to call you back to confirm the details but no one called me!! Had I not stopped in for a quick question I would have wasted my time because the system showed nothing on file for a scheduled appointment. Having an online scheduling service kind of defeats the purpose if you're not going to call the customer back to confirm the details, etc. Just take it off your website if you're not gonna use it.Well that's my two cents! Thanks for the opportunity to submit my review.

So we are from NY and purchased my x7 50mi from PA. We've done out of state deals numerous times with no issues at all with the registration. My husband travelled to pick up the car, we specificaly asked to have the plates transferred. This was not done. He did sign off on paperwork that said it could take months for the registration to show up however ultimately the reason for this is just negligence. A and L utilizes another company to process the paperwork for out of state registrations. When the paperwork was submitted to this middleman so to speak, the middlemen requested basic information back from the dealership namely the ss# and insurance information which the dealership had but I was told by the company, Aand L didn't submit to them for several weeks. I had called 3 different times to ensure I'de get the paperwork as we were crossing the border for a trip and I needed it to take the new car. I was blown off every time I called, I was told it was NYS fault for taking so long - the long and short of it is- if you're buying out of state it make in fact take months to get your registration as AL and their middleman play the blame game about the paperwork. Also, within 2 months of owning the car the entire transmission needed to be replaced!! We didn't even bother to tell AL because they showed they could care less about the issues they caused with the registration. We did get a transmission from Germany replaced at no cost through our dealership here. That's the negative - we will obviously not do business here again. I will say that our initial experiences with the sales guy Bobby was positive - he followed through got the deal done, had the car ready etc but he made his sale and then basically also blew us off when we were pissed about the paperwork issue.

I had an very negative experience at this dealership and STRONGLY recommend to avoid them.I took my X3 in to A&L for a minor collision repair, as well as several service items which were to be fixed under warranty. I was told that the collision repair would be done first and that the car would then be transferred over to their service department. My warranty was due to expire 17 days after the drop off date and I was told that the collision repair would take 1-2 weeks. Should be no problem then doing the collision repair before the warranty service, right? In the end it took A&L an entire month to complete the collision repair. Every time I called to ask for a status update, I was told the repair would be completed within the next few days, which was never true. Every time I informed them that my service warranty was expiring (or had just expired due to their delays), they would say that they would transfer me to the department that was in charge of that and nobody would pick up or answer my voice mails. Now that the collision repair is finally done, they are claiming that they will NOT service the car under warranty, as it has now expired. They claim there is nothing they can do about this, despite it being entirely their fault for insisting on performing the collision repair first and the subsequent delays caused by them. My fiancée was in a similar situation before where his M4's warranty expired a week before he was able to get an appointment at P&W BMW and they made no fuss about honoring it.A&L BMW is extremely disorganized, slow, and does not stand behind what they tell their customers. Avoid them to save yourself a lot of hassle, frustration and financial burden.

I took my car Range Rover to get a new key made because I lost mine and couldnt get into the car. Had to have it towed in. They tried to reprogram but said that because it is older ( 107k miles not that old) 2013 and no longer under warranty they could not guarantee it would work and might disable the car simply because it is no longer under warranty. So they tried 3 times disabled the car rendered it locked and useless and want to charge me $3,000 to get the computer reset. I had to have it towed to an other dealer. They said they were going to charge me daily for " storage" I cannot get into the car. They treated me awful throughout the whole ordeal. I have not had a car for 3 weeks.

I suggest you guys look into al motors. They have been taken advantage of customers for years now with bad repairs that cause more damage, lying to customers, and terrible business practices. These care dealerships, especially Al have taken advantage of our community too long, and hide behind there money and attitude that they are better than you. I suggest you look at A&L motors Google reviews and BBB reviews and you will see this is a reccuring issue and goes un talked about. Here is my storyCustomer service here is no where near #1, money is. I took my car to get a new after market key fob programed. They warned me that the key may not program and there was SMALL chance that the car computer system could be locked. I was just called and informed the car did infact get locked (I was upset but understood and thought I was just that one in a million) this took the repair from $200 to 4k . I then called to see when I can schedule to pick my car up and get it towed to another dealer. I was informed I was being charged a $200 fee and that the keys didn't program the first attempt and that they actually went and tried it 2-3 more times, making the car system lock and be made in usable. I was never called or informed after the first attempt second or even third the key would not work, I was told that if the key didn't program I would receive a call from Jose, not that they would try and try again until the car locked. I was then informed that this issue is actually very common and almost inevitable. Again I was told initially that there is a chance but a small chance that this could happen. I believed I was an informed customer who understood the risks based on what was communicated to me, after my car is factory locked and un usable is when I found out I was in fact not an informed customer and was completely mis lead and would not of made the same decision with the information I received only after getting told spending 3k is my only option. The issue I have is that I was made to believe that this is something that doesn't happen commonly that they just needed to warn me, the issue I have now is that they are now telling me that this is very common and something they normally don't even accept. I have been told different things from almost everyone I talked to. Guess what, all they want is their service fee and could care less about the customer and the effects their mistakes have on their customers life.Update: they refuse to give me a copy of the contract that is protecting them. They refuse to let me pick my car up and the police are getting involved. I've had to hire an attorney to handle all of thisUpdate : part 2: Jose (service manager) told us to stop in to fill out paperwork in order to get the car released, as I arrived they called the police on me (after inviting me in) only for the police to give me the paperwork and tell them I can get my car and there is nothing they can do about it. Since then Jose has been mocking me as I wait to giet my car towed out of here. Taking videos of me secretly while we communicate, harassing me from the building while I'm in the parking lot, and flicking me off. literally the most disrespected I have ever been and for a grown man, let a lone a business to treat someone who has purchased 3 cars off of them is unbelievable, truly. Also fun fact the owner of this dealership in my next door neighbor. They really don't care about the customer only about taking advantage of them and getting as much money as possible. I'm not car less with no way of travel and no timeline of when I will have a car. The only mistake I made was taking it to A&L motors and based on the BBB and Google reviews and complaints, I'm no where near the only one. I am taking legal action

I had no issues taking my car there when it was under warranty but I stopped after warranty expired and my last few non-inspection visits were not satisfactory. I have not been back since I had some underbody repair that took 7 business days. Often when I would text the service advisor for an update - I received "Hi Sorry this taking so long a - I dont have any updates" - that was the last straw for me. I am much happier with an independent mechanic now- service is cheaper and way more responsive. A&L is not getting my business ever again.

If I could give zero stars I would. I just bought a slightly used $50k Ram 1500 from these guys and upon getting home my son points out the tail light has a crack in it. I immediately message my salesman Tommy and received no response. I messaged him again on Monday (today) and he told me "as is" and that the dealership wouldn't replace the light. This is a safety item that won't pass inspection. He claims it passed their phony inspection at their dealership. Well it won't pass inspection in my state. They guys are crooked as hell and refuse to make things right. Absolutely stay away from this group and Tommy!

Bait and switch operation. They list one new vehicle on their website at a low price so you contact them and then say it's a mistake, yet they don't correct the mistake. Go to another BMW dealership so you can get some real, honest people to deal with.

Over the past six years I have purchased a Mercedes S560 Coupe, S550 Cabriolet, E400 Cabriolet, Range Rover HSE and my current BMW 750. Two of the Mercedes were purchased through their European delivery program, which sadly has been discontinued. My brother collects vintage Ferrari's. As you can see my family has been around the block a few times when it comes to car buying. I contacted you in good faith in reference to the 840i xDrive you had listed for sale. You sent me a breakdown on the pricing, you asked for my credit card in order to put a deposit on the car "to prevent anyone from selling it." My husband filled out the credit application at your request. My husband and I have reached out to you via email and voicemail messages many, many times. Yet, you nor anyone else at your dealership has had the common decency to get back to either my husband or me. I think that is quite rude and beyond unprofessional. The experience I'm having with you and A & L Motors will go down as the worst experience trying to buy a car ever. I am great at writing reviews. I'd like to give you a positive one whether or not we do business...This is a copy of my email to Bobby Dunn in finance at this BMW dealer. Below you can see his response to my email above. He NEVER called me! Now, it's bait and switch. Truly unacceptable! I tried calling you twice on Tuesday before I left work. I am sorry I didn't get back to you sooner but today is my first day back in the office and we are EXTREMELY shorthanded and EXTEREMELY busy. I am not making any kind of excuse I just wanted you to know what was going on. With that being said whoever worked the deal for you on the car didn't realize that it was sold last Friday. I do have another one in transit if you would be interested. I feel bad about your buying experience but it was completely accidental about the vehicle being sold. I hope I can make it up to you if you are interested in the one attached in this email. Again, I am very sorry for the confusion. BobbyA&L MotorsHe was so "Extremely busy" that he didn't even bother to consider me a customer worthy of getting back to.
