Unfortunately, I feel compelled to write this review. I would never want to see anyone else go through the stress & anxiety that I went through on my wedding day!! In addition to this, I wasted about $1000 . I paid $2000 for a total of 6 people me included to have hair & makeup. They sent 2 girls out, 1 hair and 1 for makeup. The stylist that did our hair was fantastic! When it came time for makeup, it was literally as of we stepped out of a kindergarten class. I was in shock and disbelief! I was horrified! I am a bride on my best day and the girl blotted on my mascara on the bottom lash, my eye shadow wasnt blended. My airbrush was too light for my skin, and I looked like I just woke up and had paint sprayed on me. I mean, it was bad!! All of the girls had to fix their own makeup. Me, after having a nervous breakdown, I pulled myself together and did my own makeup. By that time my skin was puffy and irritated ugh it was a mess!! This girl needs retraining on applying makeup. For paying this amount of money, I expected a professional. I ended up making my own day and eventually just moved past it. Spoke with the owner and she had nothing to say except that I should've spent additional money before the wedding to have the makeup trial- she says then I would've been able to see her work. Seriously! So I should've wasted more money to see that your makeup artist does not have skills to professionally apply makeup. Hmmm, then when I told her my husband is really pushing me to file a suit the owner told me to go ahead because she is fully insured. She also brought up that I left a tip. Well yes I did because the girl who did hair was great, what happened with our makeup had nothing to do with her. Listen, I rarely give reviews but today I feel that I have to in hopes of helping others!! Also, side note- they don't supply lipstick or liner and use Elf products. So for the price you pay this is what services you will receive. Just Warning you!! Wish I could do it all again, I should've never chosen them. Lessons Learned! Good Luck!

I hired BX Studio to do my hair for my wedding and they were AMAZING! I worked with Mandee leading up to the wedding and she was easy to communicate with. Nikita, Emily and Mckenna were out day-of stylists and they were so much fun, kept us all relaxed and even finished ahead of schedule. My curls and makeup were still beautiful at the end of the night! Highly recommend for your wedding!

LOVE THEM. My hair is very thin and easily damaged so I need someone who knows how to keep my hair type healthy. The girls at BX truly help me out with making me feel refreshed and beautiful! I'm a crazy lady when it comes to my hair and Emily has not let me down in the 5 years I have been going to her!

I highly recommend Mandee and her team!!!They traveled to Uniontown to glam up my daughter, the bridal party, and myself for my daughter’s wedding. These girls are not only beauty experts, they are MAGICIANS!! They brought out the beauty in every one of us and made us stunning!! I never felt so beautiful in my life! They did such a great job, some of my friends decided to get hair and makeup done too!Mandee is super responsive to emails, calls, and texts which I very much appreciated. She and her team are so easy to work with, everyone is so nice!!If you’re trying to decide who to choose to make your day glamorous, I would hands down choose BX Studio!

First and foremost, I would recommend getting your nails done here but not hair. No complaints about Chelsea and shayla! But as for hair, back in April 2021 I got a balayage done and had foils applied to my hair from 11 am to 1:15 pm and they weren’t removed til 145 pm. I was then left with major breakage and gummy balayage. This is now 2 months after the fact and have yet to receive an apology from the hairdresser who did my hair but I did receive an email and refund from the owner. I thought over 2 months I could help revive my hair with multiple haircuts and hair treatments but nope, my hair is still gummy when wet and cannot brush my hair til it’s dry or the blonde still falls out in clumps. I have spent hundreds of dollars on my hair including the haircuts and treatments from another salon, but also including olaplex hair products, at home hair masks, hair vitamins, and even new hair brushes to not damage my hair as much! I have now lost 4-5 Inches of hair since getting this balayage done and I actually have pieces of hair that are 1-2 inches long cause the blonde has completely broken off. So now I have to deal with probably shelling out more money for hair extensions since my wedding is in October! Also come to find out, it looks like my review on Facebook has been deleted or blocked from public view that had pictures of proof of the damage. I cannot seem to post pictures here, but all I know is I would not recommend a balayage done at this salon with natural brown hair.Services: Balayage

Emily is phenomenal. She was the makeup artist for my wife on our wedding day + her four bridesmaids, and two mothers. She took the time to understand exactly what my wife wanted and made her feel comfortable stating her opinions. She highlighted my wife's features perfectly and made her feel beautiful. My wife said Emily was a pleasure to be around during the wedding morning - my wife & and her bridesmaids looked stunning! I cannot recommend Emily enough!

I’ve never left this salon feeling less than amazing. I see Emily for my blonding, and she never disappoints. The salon is upbeat, beautiful, and professional. Though I’ve never had my hair done by Mandee, I’ve witnessed client after client leave with beautiful hair done by her as well.

Highly recommend!! The entire staff is amazing at what they do! From the minute you walk in the door everyone is very friendly and professional. From my hair, nails/toes etc they never disappoint! And the studio is beautiful and very clean.
