“I can remember going there as a child. We would visit relatives in Brownsville (Clara & Pete Christoff). We always stopped on the way there or going home to Washington, PA. I loved the smells, the samples, the food (mostly the imported Provolone Cheese!). The older folks would talk in Italian, it was magical. I hope I can visit there again. “The place is always neat. It has almost everything you need. In the home section there are always new things. ALMOST ALL THE WORKERS THERE ARE KIND AND FRIENDLY. ESPECIALLY A GIRL WITH INTENSE GREEN EYES AND ANOTHER GIRL WITH SHORT RED HAIR, that's what I like about a place. that it is clean and that its workers are friendly. ALDI IS THAT ?”
“It's a great market and nursery, but it's not cheap. While they obviously offer some home grown goods, a lot is shipped in and there is a premium price placed on items - I don't feel the high price for mass produced goods is warranted, but it is what it is.”

“Ordered a cake for my daughter's 17th birthday (only a week in advance I might add) and Tammy in the bakery exceeded my expectations! She nailed this cake perfectly and my daughter was over the moon happy about it. Not only was it gorgeous (as you can see below) but it was absolutely DELICIOUS. I have ordered many many cakes over the years from a lot of different places but this was probably my favorite to date. I highly recommend going to see Tammy. The price was absolutely amazing as well....did I mention this is the first cake EVER in my life that was finished. Didn't throw a crumb away.”

“I have never went to a giant eagle that had such fine quality meats as the West Newton giant eagle not only are the meats the best meats out of all the giant eagle but the employees that work in the meat department are simply outstanding, helpful, and care about the stuff they are putting out for people to buy They are definitely in that meat department, the A-Team.Eddie and Greg are simply the best meat men ever!!!”

“Local giant eagle store. This isn't a super large store however the selection here is great. Produce is always fresh at this location and you can find what you are looking for regularly. The store is always well stocked and it's easy to come and go quickly when needed.”

“For a small franchised store, they are expanding to include items usually found in bigger and Market District stores.The staff is friendly. The store is clean. They now have a beer and wine area, and the bakery is awesome.I couldn't ask for a better local store in the small town I live in.”
“Fast, friendly, clean environment. Staff was wonderful, friendly, and helpful. The Roscoe DG has a much better set-up than many of the others I've been in. The aisles are much wider and it's much more organized/cleaner. Saved 30 dollars with my two five dollar off (Saturday) coupons, combined with other digital coupons, which was super convenient and also helpful to my budget. It's a store I actually don't mind going into, unlike others, such as Walmart. I can spend an hour in this store easily, without all of the overcrowding and hostility from other shoppers that I experience in bigger stores. It's much more peaceful, like shopping should be. Sometimes I end up purchasing items I don't even need, just because I'm able to spend the extra time browsing. When I'm at bigger stores like Walmart, I get in and out as fast as possible. I only "browse" at Walmart online because the physical environment is just incredibly intolerable. Grateful for DG with an environment that allows me to shop in peace!”

“This dollar general is ran so much better then one closer to me! Today my cashier was Blake and he was so kind and you can really tell he works to connect customers. He was friendly with the guy before me and to me he even asked if the stuff in my basket was the discounted merch which it was and he made sure it took off the deals! “Foodland is everything what a grocery store should be and by far an improved shopping experience over Walmart. Reasonable parking for a reasonable sized neighborhood grocery store. Nothing overwhelming. Inside was well stocked, neat, clean and well organized. My interactions with staff was minimal however the woman in the meat department was friendly, enthusiastic and informative, as were the front end staff who were also friendly and cheerful.
FIVE stars across the board.”
