As a member of the Monaca business district and the chair of Beaver County BOOM, the largest fireworks show in western PA, we have a large fundraising campaign that involves a rather large mailing and we try to send it USPS to support. However, the gentlemen known as 'clerk 15' made me feel like a complete nuisance bringing in the mailers to have shipped out. It was as if he didn't want to be bothered with such things as mailing things out for our community event. Hard to believe a clerk at the post office didn't want to mail things out. I thought that was their job. It wasn't his. His job was to hassle me, frustrate me, and to get me to not return. Mission accomplished. He told me to use another post office and eventually told me to "not come back at all". I'm sure it was so that he would not have to do actual work. I ignored that request because I have an obligation to Beaver County BOOM to mail our sponsorship information out so we can fund this event that is counted on by tens of thousands of citizens every year. Normally, I have had a pretty good experience, generally, with this post office. Most of the clerks are nice and helpful. The carriers are friendly as well. This is my first time dealing with clerk '15'. It will be my last.

Tammie at the Monaca PA office is always friendly and helpful. I don't know about the others yet, as I haven't had as much interaction.

I've had pleasant experiences at the Monaca location but yesterday I went to mail an item that I had mailed out to someone else the week before, same box size - same everything. They wanted to charge me double what I was charged at a different location. I refused the service and then went back to the other location today, and it was the lesser rate as I expected. I don't think the gentleman who was working at the Monaca location knew what he was doing. He was actually rude when I questioned why it was double in price and said, "well, they must've done something wrong." Quite the opposite. The other post office was correct. Be careful, they will over charge you and have no problem doing it at all.

The attitudes from the ladies at the desk makes me disgusted. They always talk down to people. I live in monaca and would rather do my shipping elsewhere simply to avoid them.

Worst post office ever. They never put my car title into my mailbox. They totally lost my car title...which is 53 dollars to replace. They have been putting most of my mail into my neighbors mailboxes, even going as far as to not even giving me my mail when it comes. What is going on here?!

I have had drivers bring me shipping supplies and tell me that I DID order them, and not to throw them out if I didn't want them. I have had postmen crush my packages by shoving in between my screen door. I have had packages lost, and ruined by drivers. I also caught a driver smoking as they pulled away in their truck, which is not allowed. Drivers are only allowed to smoke in the vehicle when on break, but this driver tossed my package in the back, and lit up a cigarette, then drove off.

The staff is what makes this post office a good stop. They're always willing to stand there and give you the best deals to ship your package. One time I had a guy wrap a bow on a present for me at high noon on a Friday. If that isn't customer service, then slap me silly with a salmon! The post office is outdated, cramped, and dark inside, and parking is a nightmare. I usually parked in the back and hoped I didn't get caught! Review #111.
