Noticed the recent reviews were not the best, but we wanted to try it anyway. Our experience was good. Initial wait time was a little long, but when the food is prepared to order, it was worth the wait. The service was very good, waitress was attentive and served our food at the appropriate times. The stuffed mushrooms were very tasty, and portions were generous. Scallops portion was very generous and prepared perfectly. We will be back.

While we had heard good things about Main St Grill our experience was not the best. First after being seated it took right at 40 minutes before ever seeing our server. Other customers were being waited on however apparently our table kept being overlooked. After finally ordering our appetizer, salad, and main course essentially arrived all at once which I don’t care for. Now for the food: the scallops as well as the haddock were swimming in oil/butter which was not thickened in any way resulting in a bite that was extremely liquid/drippy/runny. The scallops were definitely overcooked into a very tough bite. Given the opportunity I don’t believe I would go back.

Rude owner and long wait times for food (over an hour for an appetizer and more than 2 hours for food) even with a reservation!

Must have a membership. Drinks are cheap. The problem for me was the cigarette smoke. Granted I was there on a Saturday night and it was crowded, but it seemed EVERYONE was smoking

You won't believe you're in Mocanaqua. From the warm welcome of the hostess, to the quick witted, fast on his feet, mix your drink over his head if it's called for mixologist, to the chef we know is back there but never get to see, this place is a hidden gem in the valley of 5 Mtns. From the locally-sourced ingredients to their weekly specials they leave nothing to chance. Even their desserts will have you wondering if you're still just across the river from Shickshinny. Our only desire? That we lived closer. You guys did it again. Birthdays and anniversaries to come...A Hightop for 2 Please?

I am a retired Food and Hospitality guy, been there, done that. Was a bit concerned about having a rehearsal dinner at a small town bar and grill, Oh My Goodness, it was SOoo Good, There was about 30 of us, After eating the pre set salads the food was served family style. There was a variety of items, all prepared spot on. If you've never visited, I highly recommend.
