Great show venue! Large, spacious & uniquely attractive. Two bars for easy service. Water jugs were available for free bottle refills. Great sound & decent lighting. Neighborhood street parking only.

We were in town to attend a show at the theater, and got there early. Went into the Cafe and had a nice drink (mine was a great White Russian with strong Cold Brew, his was a beer) and I wanted a water. This is where we discovered Liquid Death, and that sparked a great conversation with the very friendly barista (or bartender?) and we discussed not only the funniest can of water I've ever seen, but the local scene and Mr. Smalls' itself. We went back the next day to enjoy another drink and chat, and will definitely return when we come to town again.

Great barista and friendly atmosphere. Americano was rich and flavorful, toasty but not burnt. Best one I’ve had in a while.

On a scale of documentaries to romance novels, Mr Smalls Cafe is a book of poetry. My partner and I attended an evening concert at Mr Smalls, and we became overstimulated by the music and crowd. We saw signs directing to the cafe so we went down to the basement and discovered a quiet oasis where we could enjoy drinks, conversation, and a recharge. While we could still hear the music from above, it was very muted. The vibe of Mr Smalls Cafe put me in mind of a bar but make it coffee (and alcohol). It's definitely worth an extra visit if you're in Millvale.

A very nice find in Millvale! Not living in the area but visiting family. Walking around to see the changes in town since I was a kid. Happened to see their sign on the main road, walked up and was surprised it was in one of the old churches. Walked in and the AC alone was wonderful. A nice server who was easy to talk with and who had lots of good input. Lots of good drinks (just wish they had fraps). A friendly cool place to stop in relax and chill. One of the treasures of Millvale. I'll be back next time in town to try their other menu items. Bravo

Very disappointed in both Mr. Smalls and Ticketweb. April show was canceled. (For obvious reasons) Ticketweb offered a refund. They required a copy of the tickets torn in half with void written on them. Sent to ticketweb months ago. No response via email and no one picks up the customer service phone. Called Mr. Smalls and they are not picking up their phone. They are now selling tickets for the same band next year. Be very wary of buying tickets through TicketWeb.

Mr Smalls recently put on an event where they had live music and had tables set up on the street the vibe was awesome and Sierra Sellers killed it!! I ordered a black bean burger and so did my friend. She got Gouda cheese on hers and I got mine without cheese since I'm not a huge dairy eater. I at least thought this burger would come with lettuce, tomato, onion. Nope, nothing on it. The black bean burger my friend got she did get cheese on hers but that was it burger and cheese. It was the grossest thing we have ever tasted. I took one bite and could not eat another. The texture was like cat food. It was disgusting do not get the black bean burger.

Nice before a show with people raving about their burritos. Nice loose leaf (bagged there) tea selection. I had a black tea with peppercorn I elected to have iced. Nice staff.
