We were thrilled to stay at Starlight Hill B&B! It exceeded our expectations because: (1) Kelly, the proprietor, was warm, welcoming and hospitable in every way, anticipating our needs and exceeding them; (2) Fallingwater was merely a 5-minute drive away; (3) our rooms were quiet, comfortable, charming and exceptionally clean. You'll love this B&B! We strongly recommend you stay here, especially if you're visiting Fallingwater.
Rooms: The rooms were exceptionally clean, charming, quiet and welcoming. Each room has a starlight constellation theme, with lovely colors. You will be very comfortable and cozy here!
Nearby activities: If you want to visit Fallingwater, then you can't do better than Starlight Hill B&B which is just 5 minutes away! In addition, if you visit Kentuck Knob, it is only 20 minutes away. Very convenient location, and a great place to stay!
Food & drinks: Kelly makes a delicious breakfast every morning to help you start your day! Abundant beverages and snacks are available to you 24/7. Kelly also makes pies, breads and others treats to surprise you!

Kelly is a wonderful host, welcoming us into her b&b home on the family farm. Beautiful sunsets on the porch and ever so quiet. The Orion room is spacious and kept so clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, as were the cookie treats for the afternoon. The location couldn't be better, as it is literally 1 minute from Fallingwater and about 5 minutes to Kentuck Knob, 2 of Frank Lloyd Wright's designs. Kelly shared the history of the farm and how they were neighbors with the Kaufmans, back in the day.As city people, we enjoyed the feeling of being on a farm, as we met the cows, horses, kittens and even Rio, the adorable pup.Staying at Starlight and spending time with Kelly, we really felt like a guest and not a tourist. Thank you Kelly.

This place is completely amazing! Starting with the warmth and kindness from the hostess to the high attention to detail she put into the entire place I highly recommend people stay here. Whenever I stay in an Airbnb or hotel, the first thing I do before opening my luggage is take my pack of disinfectant wipes and wipe down the bathroom, remote, and any horizontal surface I might use to put stuff on. I didn’t feel the need to do that here. She is incredibly clean! Immaculate. I even walked around without shoes.Did I mention she’s an amazing cook! Plate of fruit, hot out of the oven coffee cake, sausage strata, potatoes, and a side of bacon. You won’t leave hungry.

This is a long delayed review-we stayed here in Oct. 2021 for our Falling Water trip. It is beautiful, quiet, spotlessly clean, comfortable with plenty of snacks to keep you happy. ?Nicest folks you could ever meet! We hated to leave..Get up early, sit on the front porch and watch the mist rising over the view.. make sure you have a good camera. ?

Amazing, amazing and amazing! Beautiful, neatly kept, European style bed and breakfast inn. Kelly is great housekeeper and wonderful cook. Everything is local. Fallingwater is 5 minutes away. Views are to die for. One of the greatest autumnal experiences ever.

Location is great for seeing Fallingwater. Inn is very comfortable as far as main floor. Our bedroom was the largest with the worst mattress! It was so hard that I woke up several times. The pillows were flat. Kelly denied my opinion. She said it’s the softest mattress in the inn. I inspected the mattresses in other rooms during cleaning the next morning. All with comfy pillow tops, practically new and a high end brand. Our’s was old, hard and did not have the depth of the others. I didn’t like how Kelly could be so friendly and seemingly hospitable and not offer me a better bed the night others checked out. She could have said sorry we haven’t upgraded the bed. Weird because it’s the largest room.

Kelly is a wonderful hostess! She is warm, hospitable and goes the extra mile to make sure her guests have what they need. The house is immaculate, the rooms are well taken care of, the common areas are comfortable, breakfast is substantial and tasty, and the view is spectacular. The location is very convenient to Falling Water and other Frank Lloyd Wright properties.

My wife and I just spent 3 wonderful days at the Starlight Hill Bed & Breakfast. Kelly made us feel right at home. The house was immaculate and breakfasts were always amazing. The location was perfect as well. Centrally located to everything that we wanted to go do and see. We definitely will be back and want to bring some friends with us next time.

My wife and I recently stayed at Starlight Hill with the Hay family. The experience was wonderful. The Hays were extremely accommodating especially since we were last minute. We were only needing lodging for one evening and arrived late at that. Upon arrival, the family was enjoying a nice evening by the wood burning fireplace. We spent the next hour visiting and listening to stories of the farm. The Hays really make you feel like family. Breakfast the next morning was amazing (omelettes, sausage from the local butcher, fresh baked blueberry bread and fresh fruit). If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely be staying at Starlight Hill.

We had a wonderful stay at Starlight Hill. The inn is clean and cozy. Kelly is a wonderful hostess. She served us a full, delicious breakfast each morning, and we came back to find fresh-baked cookies waiting for us every afternoon. The view from the front porch swing is amazing. If you have a chance to stay here, don't miss it!

We had a wonderful stay at this B&B while we took advantage of the hiking and biking in nearby Ohiopyle State Park (largely avoiding the crowds in the small town itself). Although we didn't go there, Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater is less than a mile up the road. The inn is part of a working farm and is a great place to relax and take in the panorama of farmland and hills, glorious sunsets, and star-filled nights. It has 4 guest rooms on the second floor with comfortable beds and private bathrooms. Kelly, the host, made terrific breakfasts and afternoon treats; she also gave us tips on where to eat and what trails in the park provided the best views of the Youghiogheny River. We were a little nervous traveling to the park with rain in the forecast for our one full day. Thankfully, the weather turned out better, but the big covered front porch with its inviting rocking chairs and gorgeous views would have been an excellent place to wait out any storm.

We picked the Starlight because of the previous reviews and its proximity to Fallingwater. We were not disappointed. Kelly is a wonderful host. The house is spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend!
