About Raymondskill Falls
Raymondskill Falls is a beautiful, lush forested area with a stunning waterfall. The short walk from the upper parking lot to the falls is scenic, but visitors should be cautious of the raised rocks, roots, and other vegetation along the trail, which can be dangerous for senior citizens. The path down to the bottom of the falls is somewhat steep, but the view is worth the effort. For easier access to the bottom, visitors should look to the left of the restrooms for an unmarked trail. The falls are particularly beautiful in the wintertime, and the nearby latrine is open during the day. Weekdays are the best time to visit, as there are fewer people and a better chance of finding parking, especially on weekends.
Somewhat steep downhill to falls but so beautiful. Remember you have to go back up. Be careful with dogs prone to heat exhaustion, I had to carry my Boston terrier back up the steps to get back to the car.

Absolutely beautiful waterfall, especially in the wintertime! Definitely worth a visit! I stop almost very time I make the drive up to college! Also has fairly nice latrine that are open during the day!
