Update: it gets worse...they sent a driver to pick up my filled container who has been driving for only three weeks. She damaged my yard, my newly sealed driveway, my neighbor's tree and knocked shingles off of my garage roof. If I had not stopped her, and made her call a manager to come out and pick up the pod, she absolutely would have dropped it on my house!!! And they say they resolve damages, but you can't call them to talk to a human. Run away and never call PODS. you will end up regretting it. Absolute worst customer service. You can't call the actual facility. You have to call the 1-800 number who then will call the facility. They were supposed to pick my filled container up yesterday...twice. both times they didn't show up. They reschedule the time without calling you. You have to constantly check your portal to see when and if they are planning to pick up your pod on the scheduled day. Then when you call they say oh we'll be there today sometime. Very bad customer service, very unresponsive. Would not recommend.

PODS treats you well until they have your money and your property. We moved from OK to PA and used four of their large PODS. The delivery of the PODS at our new home in PA was not only a disaster but an incredibly unsafe experience. On Wednesday 11/22/23, a PODS driver almost dropped our POD full of our home furniture, then could not safely load the PODZILLA back on the truck. She spent almost 2 hours trying to load the unit and damaged our lawn and driveway. On 11/24/23, another driver came to pick up a POD, did not call before she entered our property and completely destroyed our front yard and lamp post. She became flustered and was driving the truck recklessly and almost hit my fiancée. Damage claim filed and we expect PODS to fix this! #PODS #Moving #MovingandStorage

PODS treats you well until they have your property and money. Two deliveries completely destroyed my yard, driveway, and lamppost. Driver #1 on 11/22/23 almost dropped the POD, then could not reload PODZILLA. Driver yelled at me (the customer), saying it was all my fault? She barely got it on the flatbed, then sped off with PODZILLA not attached. Driver #2 arrives on my property unannounced and, again, destroys my driveway, lawn, and lamppost. She then smiles with an attitude and then speeds off, barely hitting my fiancee. We have two PODs stuck at our home with a third due to be dropped off. Claim filed, but no one from PODS has bothered to reach out about the damages, the safety of the customers, or how to fix the drop/pick-up schedule.I should have used United Movers.#PODS #Moving #MovingandStorage #CentralPA

My mother uses pods and she told them not to make payments automatic but they keep taking money out and putting my mother into the negatives though her bank she wants to pay though steam gift cards.The customer support is just trash my mother asked them to take her off of the automatic payment they say they did but the next month they take money out of my mother Bank and every time she asks for a manager their never one there just a terrible company to work with.

PODS was not delivered as scheduled, delayed 6 days, then not able to schedule pick up earlier, then charged extra month that we did not ask, asked for refund but the PODS billing did not match credit card charge. Still did not resolve the billing issue after 6 calls. Frustrating!

PODs was perfect choice for moving. It was so convenient to have it in driveway so we could take our time moving stuff into it for staging our home & to clean out house to move. I wish we used PODs solely to handle entire move versus hiring a moving company for big stuff like furniture. PODs is expensive but you get what you pay for... it's worth the cost! My items were perfectly handled! Thanks POD-Zilla!!

This has been the worst experience I have ever had as a customer in my life.Pod was improperly placed, nothing was done by the company to correct. I was fined by my HOA becouse it was placed inproperly. PODS did not care.I was charged another month's rent due to THEIR schedule and not picking up the full pod in a timely manner.When delivered to the new address, driver placed the pod so close to the street as to create a traffic Hazzard despite having several feet to move it from the curb.On a whole, I am extremely shocked as to the level of carelessness and "who cares" attitude displayed from this company.DO NOT USE!

I've used PODS twice to move long distances. My overall experience has been very good. There have been a couple of hiccups, mostly with loading the container, but that was entirely my fault. You learn as you go. Customer service, for the most part, has been outstanding. Reserving the shipping containers and scheduling delivery/pickup is easy using the call center and online services. I did have a couple of minor issues with container delivery people. Some are not as occomadating as others. One hit me up for a tip that had never happened before. Tipping is NOT required. I do want to recognize a certain employee for his outstanding attitude, competence, and customer service. DAVE ARDREY delivered my container on August 21, 2023. He confirmed where I wanted the container to be placed. It required additional work, but he never complained. He was careful not to damage the tree, the lawn, and the driveway. As we were talking, he mentioned it was his second week on the job, the first day he was solo. I was more than impressed. Had Dave not told me this, I would have never known. DAVE ARDREY is a true professional and exactly the type of employee a company would want to represent their brand. Thank you, Dave. I hope you receive the recognition you deserve from PODS.

The front end of our service was perfect. We had great service in the Atlanta area! However, delivery to our final destination in the Harrisburg, PA area has been a horrible experience! Lack of communication and delivery over four hours after the estimated delivery window. Our pod was to be picked up today and I just found out that the company has delayed our pick up by 12 days! At this point, I have no faith that the pod will even be picked up then. If we had broken the terms of the contract, there would be a penalty. Causing us to have the pod on our driveway for 12 extra days is unacceptable!

Middletown PA PODS service center was supposed to pick up my container on 7/22/23 & failed to do so. Of course, I wake up the next day to a service charge for renting for an additional month. I called into PODS the morning of 7/23/23 and they said they'd have pickup by 7/24/23 & I'd get a refund (for their mistake). By the rating I'm giving, you know this was not completed. After calling 7/25/23, PODS moved the date to that coming Thursday. No one ever came by or called. I called again, requesting pickup & refund, to which PODS got a pickup scheduled for 8/4/23 and a delivery window between 7am - 10am. No call, no show, no refund yet. Cancel the vendor contract with Middletown, eat the cost of shipping/doing storage with Allentown and/or Phoenixville. I've used PODS twice for cross country moves but will never use them again because of this experience.

Great process and made life easier as we sorted through a parent's estate effects. Then recommended to four others who also had a very positive experience renting PODs for cleaning out their homes.

I wish I could give lower than one star. Awful service. They were paid to deliver a POD. We waited all day for delivery and it never came. It was scheduled between 9 and 12. We te ted for help throughout the day, with no accurate updates. Finally, at 545pm, after waiting one hour to speak with someone (2 attempts, first attempt we were hung up on), we were told their driver (apparently they just have one) had issues and the POD would be delivered Monday. We canceled the service and are looking for a more reliable moving option.

PODS is a joke. Set a delivery date to new address a month ago and the day it was supposed to be delivered they randomly and without notice changed the delivery date to a week later. This is unacceptable!!! Had to wait over an hour to get customer service agent and then she hung up on me and didn't call back (even though they have my cell number). She told me that the delivery location (Middletown PA, I believe) was overbooked and only had one driver. Guess what PODS - THIS IS YOUR PROBLEM, NOT MINE!!!! After being hung up on, I used their online chat - the customer "service" agent had the nerve to tell me that I had to call the local site to figure it out. She also told me I could go to the Middletown location and pick up my belongings. I don't pay thousands of $$ to PODS and not have my pod delivered to the address as contracted!!! Nor do I pay thousands of $$ to PODS just to have to resolve their own internal issues!!! I refused to call so she filed some type of internal paperwork that goes to the delivery location and they were supposed to call me. Guess what, NO CALL from Middletown PA - shocking, I know...Free business tips for PODS - you are in the customer service business so service your customers. Hire enough agents to handle inquiries in a timely manner, train them, pay them a living wage so they'll want to work for you (assuming management isn't a train wreck, which is a huge assumption at this point), give them the tools to resolve issues like mine (to the full satisfaction of the customer!), and hire enough drivers to make deliveries/pickups when promised. Simply put, do what you say you are going to do (i.e. don't make random delivery changes without notice and input from your customers).Still waiting for a call and delivery...Update 7/18/23 - you will see in their reply below that they implied that they have been in contact with me regarding our delayed delivery. The ONLY contact has been me trying to reach someone on their end to get this resolved. They HAVE NOT ONCE reached out to me!!! I was told someone from pods would contact me about a refund/credit. Guess what? No one has called me back about that either - shocking, I know...Still waiting for calls back and delivery of my pod...

Scheduled POD delivery 5 days in advance. Estimated delivery 7:30-10:30am. No show. Called online customer service. Delivery changed to 2:30-3:30pm. No show. Called again delivery changed to 3:30-4:30pm. No show. Called again delivery changed to 9:30p.m. No show. Called again, on hold until 10pm at 10:05 I hung up because they close at 10:00 pm. NEVER AGAIN.

They were to show up to pick up the pod today for our move to Arizona. The Middletown pa location. They didn't show. Finally after calling three times they called they finally told us they had a driver call off and can't come for 11 days. Completely unacceptable response. We are closing on a house and moving across the country. Absolutely horrendous customer service.
