I came in from out of town to buy a car nearby and stopped by Elwood's without an appointment on a Thursday morning. Without a second glance, Bill agreed to give my (new-used) car a pre-purchase check and charged me much less than he could have to do so. Having worked at an auto repair shop for several years, I could tell this is one of the good ones - thanks Bill and Elwood's!

Great service, it was a reasonable price considering every other place that had the size tire I needed was asking for $200 per tire. T
Here it was $250(something) for 2 tires. They're very quick to respond when you call and if they have to look around for what you need. I'd recommend them.
