Had my car here several times because they royally screwed up when I took it in for what should have been a quick and easy fix. I dropped HUNDREDS of dollars on their fatal mistakes. Their parts ended up being faulty and not quality tested by both the manufacturers or Kistler's before installation. I no longer have a car because of how badly damaged the engine was afterwards, which turned my life whole upside down since I heavily relied on my car. The guy that works there seems nice but charisma doesn't fix cars. I've been struggling to get work now because I no longer have reliable transportation. I've kept my mouth shut for a while about what happened to me here but there's no reason to defend a business that literally ruined my life and finances.

The owner seems to be honest and not out to take your money. He did work on my car for 1/3 what the dealer wanted to charge.

Update - I've moved about 40 minutes away. There are a lot of local mechanics but I still go to Kistler's. I've been a customer for over 8 years. I tried a local place for an oil change and tires and it was a disaster that killed my alternator . Where do you suppose I went to get it fixed? I will not trust anyone else with my vehicles unless I absolutely have to2018 original review - This is a no BS mechanic that I trust. I always feel like I've gotten great work done on my cars for a fair and reasonable price.Services: Engine repair

Since moving out this way, I've been going to Kistler's for almost all my car issues (and there's a lot of them unfortunately lol). They're welcoming, professional, and diligent here. They always take care of me and explain things in a way that I can understand since I'm not car savvy. I definitely recommend this business ?

My vehicle was towed to Kistler's Service Station because a big name service chain installed my oil filter incorrectly the prior week causing an undrivable, emergency situation on the turnpike when I went to visit my mother in Topton for Memorial day. Called two of the larger auto repair shops in the area the next morning and the soonest appointment was not for about a week. Then I called Kistler's Service Station because they were close to my mom's place and had good reviews. I'm so grateful I called them because not only did they see me right away, they also answered all my questions and diagnosed and fixed the problem in less than an hour for a great price. I highly recommend Kistler's Service Station if you are looking for exceptional customer service from a trustworthy, expert mechanic who offers fair prices!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance
