Everyone we came in contact with was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Our pet (Ce’ Ce’) spent 3 nights at VEG and made steady progress each day while under their care. It was extremely obvious that taking care of animals was their passion. I was fortunate enough to visit twice a day and each time I stopped by someone gave me an update on her progress ! We couldn’t be more pleased with the care and Love that was given to our special little Ce’ Ce’ ?”
“First took our 6 year old cat here a few months ago for an illness visit after deciding to switch vets from a vet we were previously seeing in New Jersey. From the moment we walked in we knew immediately he was in good hands and have then decided to take the rest of our cats here as well.
The staff here are friendly, patient with both humans and animals & very knowledgeable. In both times we have been to the Fishtown office; I have had no doubt about the care our cats have received, have left the office feeling like any concerns or questions I have had were heard and answered and that our cats were well taken care of.

“Best vet! Always takes great care of my pets and reassures me when I’m overly worried about something. They are attentive and take their time, always accommodating and flexible and provides genuine good care. They are priced fairly and always try their best to work within my budget. I really love this vet team :) It’s also fairly easy to make an appointment and schedule around a work schedule. I brought my puppy here from the day she was adopted to now almost 2 years old and they helped me every step of the way :)”

“I was reluctant to change my vet as I finally found the one. You know, when you have a tech you love and a vet you love… you never want to leave.
Alas I moved and the drive was no longer sustainable for my old anxious dog.
Dr. Muriel Enders is an angel. Precautious without being an alarmist, down to earth, took time to explain things to me, super calm energy.
She called me at 8pm to follow up on a thought she had about an ailment my dog has. What a truly wonderful veterinarian. Feeing lucky to have come across Dr Enders and looking forward to sticking with the practice.”

“My cat is not a patient at Just For Cats, but they were so incredibly helpful to me and my cat when I was desperately searching for a bag of her special diet food. My cat’s food at her regular vet was out of stock, my delivery order of her food was delayed, and my cat was running out of food. I called and emailed dozens of vets in the Philly/Greater Philly area, and Just For Cats was the only one willing and able to help me and my cat, even though she is not a patient with them. Without their help, my cat would’ve run out of her special diet food and I would’ve been at a loss for what to do. I am so grateful for their help, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and compassionate practice for their cat.”

I took her to another vet who had zero compassion and my friend recommended The Cat Hospital of Media. Dr. Yolanda Revilla is so wonderful, informative and compassionate. I had to make one of the most difficult decisions of my life and Dr. Revilla and the staff were all so terrific. I really want to thank them for truly caring and loving my precious girl. Dr. Revilla sent me a card and today I opened the mail to receive a beautiful watercolor painting from the hospital in honor of my little girl. Thank you all so much. “Providence Animal Hospital, and especially Michelle from Providence, are the BEST! I’m out of the country and my dog was taken to VEG in Philadelphia… I called Michelle and providence to get their opinion on my dog’s condition, and she was the nicest person and did everything she could to help figure out the best plan of care for my dog. It meant so much to me that Michelle genuinely cared that much about my dog and did everything she could to help, unlike some of the people at VEG. Not even kidding, Michelle’s bosses should triple her salary and give her a 3 month paid vacation… SHE IS THE BEST!!!”
“Rau is the only vet I’ve been to that showed care and understanding when I didn’t have the money to run every test under the sun on my pet. The staff were also so patient and loving on one of the worst days of my life. That was the day I had to put down the cat I’d shared my life with for 20 years. “I moved to KOP over a year ago, but I was taking my cats to my old vet an hour away since I was used to the team there. Well, that changed when two of my cats fell sick and I needed to be seen quickly. The staff at KOP vet were very kind and got me scheduled for the very next day. Dr. Arrison was fantastic, both at handling my cats and at explaining everything in a simple way to ease my worries. I wish I had come here with my pets sooner!”
“The scheduling and check-in process was easy and stress-free. The staff was super helpful and very nice. The pricing was affordable, and my two puppies are healing great from their neuter, microchips, and shots! They sent home pain meds for them as well as thorough discharge paperwork. This clinic is one hour from where I live, but between the reviews and the price, it was worth it! Highly recommend”
“Everyone here is super personable and informative. Dr. Knighton and the Tech that checked out Fred, my 10 week old street urchin, were super gentle with him. They gave me a clear overview of what to expect for upcoming visits. They also used treats to help Fred be calm while he received care.
I also really appreciated that the front desk staff is able to give you a ballpark quote for the cost of the visit. There's nothing like being blindsided with fees.
I called around to a few places before picking City Cat Vets. Their pricing seems very fair in comparison.
I totally recommend them if you've got a kitty. The office is dog free. The space is super calm and quiet. The staff are A+ from the first phone call with the front desk to the visit itself.”

I probably called them dozens time for any worries that I have about my pups They are very quick to respond for all my concerns. They’re very friendly and kind to our pup that make her always happy to go see them.

We were charged half as much as other vets for standard checkups and a tenth for spaying. With no sacrifice of quality. Reservations tend be available a month or so later when you call, so plan ahead and book early.”
“Dr. Kwon just blew my mind with his vet skills. I have never seen my dog act so calm at a vet before. As soon as Dr Kwon came into the room, he sat on the floor to greet my dog. He spent a lot of time explaining everything to me and then did NOT try to nickle and dime me at the end like my last vet did.
All around a great place to go with a super friendly staff.”
“Bywood Veterinary Hospital is an amazing place! They are so caring, patient and kind. They advise but also listen. I had to put my darling cat to sleep today and the staff could not have been more helpful and compassionate! Even though it was a painful experience, our fur baby was treated very well. “This place is the best and I mean it I had a emergency visit for ford my dachshund got him right in did not over charge me or anything gave him the right treatment and he was back to normal in 2 days I don’t take my dog to the vet unless I am scared and he is really sick and he was thank you for keep ford happy and healthy and back to barking you guys are the best!!!! “What can I say? I wish we could all pass on while lying on our beds on the porch, in the full sunshine and surrounded by family, with a belly full of Reese's peanut butter cups. This was the best money ever spent. Dr. Aronson was so kind, respectful, and really listened. She let us set the pace and explained what was going to happen, both in advance and as it went on, and made sensitive suggestions throughout and giving us space as needed. After she left, she followed up with a poem based on the stories we told her about my dog, along with a nose print that she took of him. Being able to say goodbye to your dog on your own time and in a stress-free setting of your choosing is the greatest gift. I'm so grateful we had this option and I'm so glad we had Dr. Aronson there to help.”
