These employees are so racist it's like it's normal behavior to them all. The food is only good when the chubby white guy with the beard is cooking. Everyone else makes the food nasty. Idk how considering they all use the same equipment. I think it's an attitude problem. I love this place so much. But this new set of employees has made me hate it and I never go anymore. They called the cops on me for taking a few hour nap between work shifts and there was three other cars and 8 other trucks there sleeping also. But my car was the only car that wasn't drove by white people. The employee Ashley, even went as far as telling the police that we were drug addicts when I have never done drugs. I woke up to three police cars in full bulletproof vests and extra backup along with dogs because I decided to take a nap before my next shift. The managers were not helpful at all, they were disrespectful. These employee have so much drama in this building it's like a high-school. If the good cook isn't there, it's not worth It.

So I did not catch this until I was checking my match 6 tickets for today and realized I was charged $54 for $46 worth of match 6 tickets. Typically it could be an honest mistake but this mistake has happened 3 times with a particular individual. Not different people, the SAME person. I will be visiting this store to speak with management and have them verify claim with sale transaction and video surveillance. And with it being match 6 on April 25,2023 with a 6.6 mil jackpot, I'm curious if the winning ticket was sold in Mercersburg/Franklin County, we'll see.. But irregardless, this is theft and fraud, I don't appreciate it!

Rutters is always clean. They always have the products in stock that I am looking for. The staff is always friendly and courteous. I have very limited experience with their prepared food. My review includes everything except prepared food.

The employees at this Rutters made a heck of a chicken soup and let me stay as long as I needed to get rest. Truly good people work here.

If I could leave a zero star review, I would. My fiancé and I were on a road trip around the northeast, and being not from around those parts we didn't plan accordingly for a food stop. We paused for gas and were optimistic to see what appeared to be a real deli-style restaurant inside the station. The build your own burgers seemed good at first, but only because we were so hungry that grilled roadkill probably would have been tasty. In fact, grilled roadkill probably would be a better choice than eating anything from this heinous gas food station. About a quarter of the way through the rapidly-becoming-questionable meat patty we turned the light on in the car to see the grey-ish hue of the lukewarm monstrosity that they called "beef." This would have been a good time to call it quite and toss it, but we managed to choke down another quarter or so before our hunger faded enough to make us begin to question of life choices that led us to decide to eat food made in a gas station. About an hour later, during our drive, the jokes began about the probability of rats and pig intestine making up the actual meat product...we decided it was highly probably. The levity lasted until about six hours later, when both my fiancé and I were awoken by gurgling stomachs, cramping intestines, and rolling body aches and chills. As we fought the nausea and bile trying to wend its way up from the depths of our bowels we couldn't fight the memory of those grey parties of death. My fiancé won the battle and managed to fall back asleep after a long meeting with the toilet, but I lost the war and spent the better part of the night running from the bed to the bathroom where I continually emptied the contents of my entire gastrointestinal tract from both ends. The rest of the night and the better part of the next day were spent in bed sleeping to avoid the hell that was the current state of my body. Twenty four hours after the poison burger I'm finally somewhat back on my feet and am recommitted to my promise to never trust food made inside a gas station. Next time we find ourselves in such a state of hunger I'll be seeking a squirrel to run over, as I'm quite certain even that would be a cleaner, safer, healthier meal than anything you can get in Rutter's.

Always great food and great customer service. Wide variety of drinks and snacks. We always go here when we are in the area visiting and will usually do breakfast and sometimes even lunch in the same day. So much better than going to McDonalds across the street. Food is made fresh while you wait and I have never had a bad meal or bad food from here. Excellent on prices as well. Very well kept store, always very clean and well stocked. Can't wait for our next visit!

The food prep workers are incompetent, do not work at a pace to keep up with orders and aren’t capable of making more than one thing at a time even though you ordered 2 of the same thing. They also are to concerned with talking with customers instead of doing their job preparing food. 2 of the workers today 8/1/21 are prime examples of what is stated above.
