Lead lifeguard was very rude and insulting to me. In my experience, the therapy pool closes abruptly and unannounced on a fairly routine basis. They always blame it on a lifeguard shortage. For me, it all came to a head when this lead lifeguard told me to get out of the pool in the middle of my workout. Why? Lifeguard shortage! I complained to corporate. Corporate told me that they would forward my complaint to the local manager and that i would get a call to resolve my issue. I never got a call. I have not returned. For some reason, Rocky Run can’t seem to find and keep lifeguards. In my opinion, it’s not a lifeguard problem, it’s a management problem. They always blame abrupt and impromptu pool closings, late pool openings, early pool closings, on lack of lifeguards. I’m now at Main Line Health Fitness & Wellness Center in Concordville. Pool opens snd closes on time and exactly as advertised without fail. No lifeguard shortages. Well maintained facility. CLEAN. RELAXED. NO DRAMA. I feel welcome here. Members can count on water temperatures always being perfect. Very polite and helpful staff. A warm greeting every time I check in. Towels provided.

Great staff always nice and helpful, a great array of workout equipment that will keep you busy and help your health, very clean, it’s full of great energy and great personal training, glad I signed up here also, my health is improving through this place, I would highly recommend this for anyone, pool is nice and clean, very friendly environment. Look forward to going every time.

Great place for the community and for our teen to work out with his friends. The gym is a little dark and needs serious updates to their equipment.

I personally only use the pools. I do not do any exercises upstairs or join any of the sessions you have for exercise, but I certainly enjoy the pool, especially I use the therapy pool. I do my own little exercising in there and afterwords, I treat myself to a dip in to the hot tub, followed by a nice hot shower, I am glad to be part of the Rocky Run family, I travel from Wilmington even though there are facilities near me I still prefer to go to Rocky Run!

The equipment is all newer, there are a ton of machines and free weights, plenty of instructors around, places to play ping pong and learn ballet, childcare for you to work out, plenty of amazing classes (hello, BodyPump!) and a great pool. The price isn’t the cheapest, but the value is there for sure. Membership also comes with discounts for summer camps.

The best of all the gyms. I have been part of planet fitness but never felt great. I joined YMCA later but I felt this is the best decision of my life.
