I thought maybe I was missing out at first but I am really surprised about the reviews here. Maybe I am on the cusp of a hidden treasure naturally developing. Media has always been a fun area for me to walk around and eat at. There were about 15 vendors and the variety was outstanding. The vendors are listed on their websites and it is recommended you pre-order and bring bags if you know what you want or that you will buy something. Alcohol including wine and maybe even liquor with birch beer, ice cream, fresh bread including possibly squash bread, ice pop flavors, fresh empanadas, delicious fresh hot chocolate w spices, a number of exotic type things. The day I went, there was a stand to buy fresh vegetables and I believe fruit as well (as opposed to 3.) Could you find similar at Trader Joes like one user said? Yes and no depending on what it is. Media only wants to give out and block out so much space on their streets. Food typically has its own unique taste and vibe even if the same thing is offered at a nearby grocery store. This market deserves a look. It is one of my personal favorites out of the ones I have been to. I don't go out looking to attend farmer's markets in particular normally but this one had a vendor that used to be a Philly restaurant that I ate at several times. (Sazon, just started in October and around every other week.). Last day of the year might be today but website says they meet but less often Dec-April.

I love and support this small, but wonderful market - mostly run on volunteer-power. Every week "in season" on Sundays from 10 - 1 (sometimes 2).Many of the vendors and farms come back year after year - and once a month they have a knife sharpener.Don't miss the (every 2 weeks) the late harvest season into Thanksgiving with fresh turkeys available for pre-order.Wonderful baked goods, farm-fresh eggs (the egg people are so nice) and prepared foods - even ICE CREAM and Tunisian Olive Oil.SUPPORT LOCAL FARMERS - they work so hard.we love you Media, Farmers Market.

Ali is an amazing Man ~who has so much knowledge of all his products! His Balsamic Glazes are delicious! Mixes of Herbs Are A tastebud sensation, you could use as a rub, or add organic olive oil for dipping! He has Mediterranean olives black and green, so healthy and good for you! He has Rosemary with Medicinal properties and Argon Oil that made my skin so soft! ~ but the Wooden Spoons / Bowls/Honey Pots / Pasta servers~ to gravy/red tomato sauce stirrers Are WORKS OF ART! So beautiful ~ I could not get enough! His Wooden Products ~ They are made from the purest /Finest wood , not like wooden spoons made anywhere else! ~ a feast for the eyes! He had strawberries with balsamic glaze samples! Wow! He is So gracious explaining his products you can feel the Love he has poured into his business! It is a labor of love ? ~Betteanna Camagna

This is such a great market! AND, it keeps going through the winter!! Mediterra has the best quality olive oil I've ever gotten in the U.S. and the owner, Ali, is so friendly! He also has the best balsamic vinegar I have ever had in my life! Ali is so knowledgeable about his products -- he will tell you where and how everything he sells is produced so that you can feel good about the businesses you're supporting and the quality and source of your food. He's also known to throw in a free gift or two. :)

This market and all the vendors are fantastic, bringing the most fresh and unique products!! We especially love visiting Ali who brings Mediterra products. Each week we are excited to see him and learn about the different flavor profiles and origins of the products he offers. You will not find a better olive oil anywhere! We have tried many of his other sauces and dips--all of which are fresh ingredients with no additives. They expand my family's palates and enjoyment of food. We would highly recommend visiting all the vendors at this market, but your other foods won't be complete without the olive oil, vinegars and sauces that Ali and Mediterra offer!!

I just found this place to leave reviews for the Media farmers market. There are so many great vendors. I could’ve been leaving five star reviews for a long long time. Who should I applaud today?. First, the Farmers Market. Thank you for staying open during these cold months. You are a bi-weekly ray of sunshine for me. Second, Mediterra! Oils and vinegars sauces and spices everything on that table ups my cooking game. I love to cook vegetables and Mediterra makes them very very happy! Thanks to Ali the owner also! And third, but maybe first and the whole purpose - our resident farmers: Robin Hill Organics. I can’t thank you enough. You’re instrumental in my goals to eat a diet rich in plants of all kinds. Thank you!

Great place to buy fresh veggies (even in winter!), eggs, prepared foods and bread. Especially awesome to find the @Mediterra line of vinegar, oils, capers, spreads, sauces - amazing delicacies, pure, unbelievably delicious, and a little of all their good stuff goes a long way because it is such super high quality and robust flavors - hard to find such extraordinary products in stores.

Really terrific vendors today. One in particular is Mediterra. I just spoke to him on the phone letting him know one of his cutting boards is cracked. He said I'll have the replacement in time for Christmas. So happy he stands by his products!!
