Jeweler is like that know it all uncle everyone adores. Very knowledgeable on what he does. I had a ring made somewhere else and it was causing a weird callus. My fiancé & I designed my engagement ring together with pieces from both sides of our family (my grandmother’s engagement ring, his great grandmother’s engagement ring & a stone given to me by my late father) and Billy did an amazing job executing our vision. We came to him with a picture of what we wanted & several pieces of sentimental value and he was able to calculate the scale of everything doing mental math. He took his time with us, listening to our needs and explaining the science & aesthetics behind everything. The whole process was really enjoyable but honestly the resulting ring earned him customers for life. I still can’t believe just how beautiful it came out but he really nailed it. If you are looking for a jeweler to create a custom piece please do yourself a favor & work with Billy. We highly recommend him.

I have visited this store three times recently hoping to sell inherited jewelry. One the first visit, the owner offered a fair price for the jewelry that I showed him but I decided to check elsewhere before selling to make sure that I was getting the best price. On the second visit, the owner was rather impatient and short with me so I left. On the third visit, the owner seemed to be in a bad mood, was short tempered with me and offered substantially less for the jewelry than he did on the first visit. He told me that one of my bracelets was 10K gold when it was actually 14K. I will never do business here again.

Bill made me a GORGEOUS necklace with a morganite that my Mom had given to me. Amazing work! He showed me the options for the stone and of course the 1 setting he said that he didn’t think would work is the one I LOVED! He made it work! SO HAPPY! Great family business!

Billy is seriously the best. He is incredibly knowledgeable and honest. He gets work done quickly and is insanely patient. We had to have our wedding rings and my engagement resized MANY times and he couldn't have been nicer about it. We highly recommend Billy to all our friends and family because your jewelry couldn't be in safer more capable hands.

I am not sure if the owner was having a bad day but the moment we walked into this business, we were greeted with a rude “What do you want” and the rudeness continued until we decided to leave as the owner replied “Go, get out”. We were excited to try this new business in our home town and cannot believe the way we were treated. I’ve never been treated so badly in a business ever. My wife and I heard good things about this establishment but sadly cannot recommended them.

If you need any of your jewelry repaired Bill is the guy for you! I went there after seeing the glowing reviews on Yelp. Bill is so personable, knowledgeable and 100% HONEST!!! He took the time to explain to me everything he could and would do to repair my necklace, in terms I understood. He stated it would take a few days; I dropped in off on a Friday and he stated he would be ready the following Tuesday or Wednesday. Well guess what.... he called me the next morning, Saturday, and stated it was ready for me to pick up. How can you beat that??? YOU CAN'T!! Not that I want any of my jewelry to break, but I am thankful/grateful I found Bill just a few blocks away from my home. Nice work Bill & THANK YOU!

Just had a ring reset by Golden Impulse and it turned out beautifully! Billy's shop is a hidden gem down a set of stairs off State Street! Gorgeous jewelry crafted by Billy. Reasonable prices. My go to jeweler going forward. I only wish I had found It earlier.
