Do not get their wellness plan. They told me all shots are covered but then billed me For the second round of one. I got the run around when calling to discuss the bill I received and never got a call back. I guess $60 for a vaccine is worth more than 3 pet patients they lost.

My wife has been fostering kittens for a couple years now. We have been lucky with our foster kittens, but this morning one of our new foster kittens was near death. Our adult cats are seen regularly at Winding Hill, so that was our first call. They were so understanding and gracious, and asked us to bring the kitten in right away. They were able to see the kitten immediately and treated her with such care and dignity. Even though the kitten could not be saved, the staff and doctor were thorough and provided the best care possible under the circumstances. And they did not make this visit a financial burden for us either. Top notch care without charging us an arm and a leg - GREAT veterinary practice in Mechanicsburg!

I've happily patronized Winding Hill Vet Clinic for many years but today they saved my sweet dog's life. I called in a panic due to poison ingestion and they fit her in immediately and promptly attended to her needs despite a packed parking lot. I am beyond grateful that she is okay and at home with me tonight. Thank you Dr. Dailey and staff!

Dr Hartman is absolutely wonderful! She is caring and listens to your concerns. She doesn't push services on you and is kind, caring and compassionate. All the other doctors at this practice have been good too. But Dr Hartman seems to go above and beyond for both the pet and the owner. The practice is easy to get appointments and they are about cleanliness. The staff is also kind and caring.

I cannot say enough about the compassionate care we received from Dr. Patricia Gabig. Our dog had chronic vomiting issues that Dr Gabig had been trying to figure out. We moved to another state, and our dog got a procedure that made the diagnosis, but unfortunately she got sick after the procedure (anesthesia etc). It was a weekend and we could not reach the doctor that had done the procedure. In desperation we emailed Dr. Gabig, who not only responded on a Sunday, but gave us recommendations for what medication we could give our dog to help her symptoms. Our dog is better and I am so grateful that Dr. Gabig took the time to respond to a desperate family, who weren't even her patients anymore and were living in another state. God bless her and everyone at Winding Hill.

I have been going here for 40 years and the last several have not met my usual expectations. It seems they look for something to be wrong, one year heart murmur (no true) the next kidney failure and again not true. Poor communication with vet and techs. I am changing vets to look after my 17 y/o cat. I get the feeling they prefer dogs also.

Thankful for Dr. Gabig and staff here for taking such good care of my animals and ensuring my little one got the best care before, during, and after surgery!

Dr. Gabig and the staff are wonderful. My dog can be aggressive and the handle him with compassion. He had to have surgery to remove a growth. They explained everything well and Dr. Gabig called me personally when she finished his surgery.

Everyone at Winding Hill has been extremely helpful and we appreciate Dr. Hartman and her guidance with our fur daughter Miss Pebbles. Would highly recommend this group to new clients coming from a different state.

Very professional and caring. Both our cats were given ongoing care for most of their lives. Both of them were euthanized after becoming very ill and bad prognosis. The compassion and care during that process was exceptional. Both were difficult decisions.

POOR SERVICE FOR PETS WITH LYME DISEASE - STANDARD OF CARE and FRONT DESK LACKING EMPATHYWe have been taking our dog here for years and the service is mediocre. Each time we have an issue (which isn't often thankfully,) it takes them forever to get back to us and usually requires us calling again in order to actually get a return call. This latest time, we waited and waited for a call back. We called 3 times total over 2 days we were told that they are a very busy practice and it could be 24 hours before we got a return call. This time, our dog had a Lyme disease flare up. We know the signs, lameness, pain, stumbling on stairs yet when this happens we must wait 2 days for response to get a call back then 2-3 more days for an appointment?! ... um no. I love my dog, I don't want him in pain for a week or more because their office is "very busy" so much that it takes them 5 days for a request for a refill on a diagnoses and treatment that THEY gave us. The front desk is rough too. They were more concerned about covering their own butts (who took the 1st call? what did they tell you? did you know it could be 24 hours? etc...) Seriously? I just want my dog to be well again... and you're my vet... and you clearly don't care. We are looking elsewhere.

We've been going there for years and refuse to go anywhere else. Love Dr. Gabig! Entire staff is outstanding.
