Neil T, read your review, am sorry you didn't have a good experience. Can you contact them directly for response? Having lost fur babies, I've had occasion to offer dog supplies. A rescue can't accept things that they can't immediately use (space). Can't accept medicines. Esperanza fought for & got enacted Libra's Law targeting animal cruelty. Consider volunteering to help w/staffing shortages. I am not associated w/Speranza.

I was surprised to see so many different animals being sheltered at Speranza, in Addison to their capacity for 50 dogs. I was glad that I made a donation of canine supplies and hope that they will be useful to the shelter or future dog owners.

I OFFERED TO DONATE A SUPER LARGE REPTILE ENCLOSURE TO THEM FOR THE LIZARD THEY ACCEPTED......THEY HAVE NOT EVEN HAD THE DECENCY TO CALL AND ACCEPT IT.!✓✓ could at least call and say thank you, even should they refuse the gift ✓✓

Fantastic rescue of cattle, mule, goats, Turkey, duck, dogs, cats, chicken and sheep. Great place to donate time and funds. Take the kids and educate them on the importance of taking care of our earth by taking care of nature’s animals.

These people are nothing but Nasty & Rude, full of Gross attitude. They are very hard to get ahold of concerning adopting an animal. They verbally got nasty on social media with me and then deleted their nasty comments to make me look like I was the issue. Then they sit by and watch all the trolls attack and not say a word. They are Petty, a terrible rescue who has way more animals than they should due to the fact of how they run their business and application process. Do not donate to these people.

This place is not legitimate.Several years ago I gave a cash donation to this "organization". I never received a reply or acknowledgement.Several years ago I offered several dog crates to this rescue. They never responded.Today (12/09/220 i offered over $300 worth of animal supplies and they wanted to pick and choose from the list I furnished what they would accept.I cannot believe that this is a legitimate enterprise that would turn down anything!Please check them out carefully before you choose to donate money, goods or services.They seem to be into it for their own self promotion rather than the welfare of animals.
