We were sent away with peace of mind that our girl would be okay and that a lot of her symptoms were normal because she was on steroids. Our sweet girl wound up passing away on New Year’s Day, less than a month after we had brought her here and were reassured that she seemed good and that any of her weirdness was probably due to the steroids she was on. This was obviously not the case. The assurance we got seems very misguided and I’m left thinking another vet may have been able to diagnose my baby accurately. The people were very nice, but I wanted to update my review to accurately reflect my experience to prevent other dog owners from going through something so tragic. My best friend is gone and I can never get her back and if an updated google review can prevent someone else from going through this, I’m all for it. Don’t risk it. Go somewhere else.

This past Tuesday night I brought my dog who was panting, having trouble walking, and his gums were pale. The lady who came to the door said they could put him on oxygen but they close at 10 but we could go to Shores or Hershey. I felt like we were being turned away which was insensitive as our dog was slowly dying in my husbands arms. We choose Shores and got there at 8:30pm and they took our baby right way. He had internal bleeding and unfortunately he passed away around 9:00pm. I will never recommend Rossmoyne to anyone for the way we were treated.

I was worried about my cat Prince not eating, so I took him to Rossmoyne. The staff was very courteous, and everything was explained clearly. Dr. Bukowski was very thorough in her examination of Prince. Luckily, it was nothing serious. I would recommend this place for your pet care.

I have taken my pets to Rossmoyne several times over the years and have had great experiences each time. The Staff and Drs are knowledgeable. My most recent visit on 1/18/24 we saw Dr Millington. He was very kind and gentle with my "stranger danger" dog who did not react at all through his exam and treatment.

This establishment is outstanding. The genuine care and concern for your animals is made clear by staff the moment you step through the door. Cleanliness, punctuality, bedside manner, and patience in navigating your pets situation are only a few of the qualities you can expect here. Thank you Rossmoyne!

Highly professional, caring and incredible staff and vets. We were beyond impressed with the care on a holiday when our dog injured himself. Called ahead and they took all the information over the phone and set a time for us to come in (an hour from when we called). Highly recommend!

As I see a lot of people on here looking for veterinary clinics and emergency clinics, I want to make you aware of something. Never take your pets to Rossmoyne emergency clinic. They are terrible. They totally misdiagnosed my kitten. My kitten was running a 104° temperature and I was never told that. It was never addressed. He was showing signs of dehydration. I asked the vet if she thought he was dehydrated and her reply was a blank look and a shrug of her shoulders. Then she said “I can give him some sub Q fluids, if you would like”, to which I said “please”. They totally gave the sub Q fluid in the wrong place on his back. When they were done with him, they brought him out and I pet him and the fluids that they put into him was ice cold, and he was shivering all over. He was also not eating so I asked if She could give him some thing to stimulate his appetite. she reluctantly agreed to give me some thing. It’s pretty pathetic when you have to suggest and basically diagnose what your pet needs. There was no compassion and the vet acted like she was doing me a favor by seeing my kitten. This was on a Saturday. I took my kitten to my regular vet on Monday as he was not doing any better, and was still not eating. As soon as the vet walked in the room, she said “this kitten has a high fever and is dehydrated.” She could tell by the looks of his eyes. He was still running a fever of 104. He was given additional fluids, this time warmed up and in the right place. My vet warned me to never take my cats to Rossmoyne. Another issue was that the cost was astronomical. I was going to go to Shores, but I thought Rossmoyne would be cheaper. It is not. It is corporate owned so the price is higher. Shores is privately owned and is cheaper and the care is Superb. My kitten was better by the next day after seeing my regular vet. I tried to fight the charges that I paid at Rossmoyne but it’s hard to fight a corporation. I will take every advantage I can to point out how horrible this clinic is. Another symptom he had was that he would take a couple steps forward and then sit down and wait to take any more steps. I thought maybe he had hurt himself. My regular vet said that that was happening because he was so sick and so weak and dehydrated. So, please, please, for your pets safety never take them to Rossmoyne.

We had an emergency and our regular vet could not get our pup in. The ladies at Rossmoyne were wonderful from start to finish. They were up front on all pricing and got our pup taken care of immediately. The vet tech even got down on the floor with me to do all the paperwork because Kahlua was so dopey from the sedation.

Best place to go. No one wanted to help my poor kitten that was in dire need of help. But the staff was very nice and understanding. Even tho my visit was very good. Had to say goodbye to our kitten Mini.RIP.

I had an emergency with my female Indian Ringneck parakeet on a Friday night after my regular Vet was closed. Dr Mengle saw her even though she is not an avian vet she was very knowledgeable and helpful. All the staff was great! I hope that I will never need an emergency vet again, but if I do I will not hesitate to call them.

The vet tech was great guy. He did the work of taking my dog’s temperature, getting her heart rate and checking her breathing. He said they were a little behind so there would be a little bit of a wait. I said no problem and waited. Two and a half hours later the vet comes in, does the same stuff as the vet tech which took her maybe three or four minutes, and then says there’s nothing they can really do for my dog at the moment. The vet wasted my entire evening, then still charged me $165 for the visit.
