“Convenient location to shop and get gas. I have never waited longer than 5 minutes to get gas. I am even able to drive right up to a pump every now and then. The store itself is clean with plenty of associates to assist when needed. I go weekly for my salad ingredients and fruit. Great pricing on avocados, which are expensive in grocery stores. I often find surprise items from protein shakes to clothing. I appreciate the ready-made items as well. Had to host a last minute get together and used all Sam's Club items. It's less expensive than catering from a restaurant. I purchased my membership through a Groupon promotion. So I got a great deal.”

Pharmacist Jon and Pharmacy Tech Megan got her new prescription ready in less than 20 minutes and made sure the allergy was noted on her record. “Yesterday was one of the toughest days i had from going without medication due to mishaps with another pharmacy in Gettysburg not filling my scripts; i had a bad fall from not having the medication and needed to get it filled that day &
the pharmacy staff at Weis #199 was absolutely incredible in helping me and my husband figure this out and get me feeling better again!
The pharmacist helped me not only get my medications but called my insurance company to explain what had happened to get an override for me and the rest of the pharmacy staff were very sweet and understanding. The pharmacist listened to me, asked me quick and important questions based off of my medication withdrawal symptoms, filled all of my prescriptions altogether, and truly went above & beyond her call of duty to ensure i was taken care of and okay before we left the pharmacy.

“Used our points for additional discount on fuel - usually my wife uses them - however now that they have diesel- prices are on par with the other stations in the area- east to get in and out of- firewood, windshield solvent and oil are available at the kiosk also”

They were caring and empathetic to my situation. I planned to leave rite aid after my other experience, however Angelina and the team give me reason to stay and work with their location instead of another company.”

“This branch of CVS is amazing and all of the staff is phenomenal. We tried to switch to a drive through CVS maybe a year ago, and had so many issues that we immediately switched back.It’s also worth noting that Kendra is an absolute hero. Not only does she immediately recognize the regulars, she does her best in getting things ready quickly, communicating with doctors offices for refills as needed, handling stressful situations with grace (like when people try to form multiple lines or cut others, she politely but firmly points out what aisle the line is down), and she respects HIPPA and does not shout your medication names or personal info (I’ve had issues with this at other pharmacies).I have a lot of health issues that have been going on this past year and it’s been a lot to juggle. Kendra recently went above and beyond to call me at home and help coordinate my medication pickup dates so I’m not at the pharmacy practically every day. That small gesture saves me so much time and will definitely make my life a lot easier.”

“I did take into consideration the reviews for this CVS as we moved here & needed a CVS pharmacy. It was the closest to us & also has a drive-in which I was looking for. I went in & checked it out too, before transferring prescriptions here. Despite some negative reviews, I decided to give it a try. I can't say enough about the people here, the pharmacists, the techs, and the cashiers I've come in contact with. It's been 4 months and I have had nothing but positive experiences here. Everyone has been helpful & friendly. And even when I go from the check out to the consultation area, the pharmacist comes right over & doesn't make me wait. Kudos to the manager & staff at this CVS. “I'm adding 1 star based on my experience today.Due to the supposed staffing shortage, my vaccine appointments got cancelled by 2 CVS locations within the past week. Last Friday my confirmed 5:15 appointment was not honored by the CVS/Gettysburg Pike without giving me a reason. (I had to call the corporate to find out). Today, the CVS/Target also didn't honor my confirmed lunch time appointment; but they at least posted a sign citing staff shortage. Since I still have time left for my lunch hour, I drove to the nearby CVS/Sporting Hill, on the off chance I could get a walk-in. I didn't hold much hope given how the day was going and that there was no appointment slot available online. Lo and behold, the pharmacist at the counter miraculously slotted me in without saying a word. 10 minutes later my name was called and I got my shot. Third time's a charm. I was very grateful to say the least.Now this location has the longest store hours in the area, and the pharmacy is the most well staffed in the area. The interior has been updated within the past 2 years. As for the retail section, Jillian has been a standout in the recent month. She's consistently been friendly and helpful in the last few months during my visits. The cramped parking lot I can tolerate. The only thing that does bother me about this location is that it can be hard to exit to the streets during rush hours.”
“With rewards CVS put on my card, I got a great deal at CVS today. And the CVS employee at the checkout helped me get all the rewards I had been offered. I hadn't downloaded the rewards correctly to my card, and she actually used my phone for me, to download all my rewards. Her patience and kindness were excellent!”

“I shop at Sam's often today I picked up the large shed they had available for a while at $899, which was a good deal already, then recently marked down to $699- couldn't resist. They had someone grab the 2 large, heavy boxes the shed came in and helped me load them into the back of my truck, everything was easy and pleasant as always”
