Wandered in on a visit to check out downtown Mechanicsburg. No one seemed to be managing the place. There were a few ladies who were laughing in the back room but then left.Appears to be a place where artists can display and sell their art. There’s a room in the back with a stage, so I assume they have shows/performances. There’s a smaller room off that back room that has a darker/witchy feel.

Very happy Metropolis has been open again. Hannah and Richard are so unique and focused, they are HUGELY responsible for breathing life back into an area that was fading away. Besides the excellent quality of every piece in the gallery, you can find handmade jewelry, accessories and eye catching creations showcased by local artists. Oooh, and don't forget the bands!! Live music that sounds good! Something about the area where the stage is.. great acoustics. Maybe I'll see you there!
