Me and my wife traveled to this area for an engagement party and chose to stay at this location due to our great experiences we have had in the past stays at Holiday Inn Express locations. When we first walked in we noticed it appeared a little outdated which is not a big deal, however both my wife and I noticed it appeared to be rather dirty. We were running short on time so we went straight to our room to drop our luggage off before we left for the evening for the engagement party, and as soon as we entered our room we were disgusted. There was dirt and crumbs in every corner, other people’s hair all over the bathroom and furniture, and over all grime on the surfaces. We both agreed it appeared the room had not been cleaned properly if at all before our stay. We got back late and decided since luckily we were spending very little time in the room, we would not make a big deal of the mess. When we woke up on the morning and had more time to look around we discovered cob webs on the lamps, a random pill under the air conditioner, and a very gross and suspicious brown stain on the comforter which, had we discovered sooner we would have immediately left. Upon checkout the staff at the front desk asked how our stay was to which I replied the stay was fine, however our room was rather disgusting, to which she replied “we just took over here not long ago, and will be starting renovations in January” I said that’s good to hear but our room was gross and dirty. I told her about some of the things we discovered to which she seemed disinterested and asked if there was anything else to which I said no and left.
In conclusion, we had family from New York staying at the Mechanicsburg location on Louise Drive over the same time, and they raved about how fantastic their experience was with their stay at that location. My wife and I found ourselves extremely disappointed with our experience and would strongly advise giving that location your business and avoid this one at all cost. When staying at a hotel the most important thing is sanitation and cleanliness. Although refreshing the aesthetics of the hotel with renovations will do a lot for the location, cleanliness is something they can control right now and we found they failed to do that.

50 yrs old but well remodeled. AC worked great, clean, no allergy issues.pool looked nice, did not go in.

Robbin - she was the best, very kind, polite, calm, knowledgeable, understanding, and very helpful. always smiling and treat people with respect no matter how busy she is. thank you. This place is very lucky to have her.
Tv needs to be replaced with newer ones, everything else is good for solo travellers and for quick 1-2. days stay.

The most disappointing IHG hotel I’ve experienced so far. The front desk staff was indifferent and didn’t acknowledge that I was a Platinum Elite member. They didn’t even inform me about the breakfast location or time. I had to ask for the welcome gift, which was not offered proactively. There was no complimentary room upgrade, and there were used towels hanging on the showerhead. This place needs a thorough inspection.

Definitely an older hotel, only one elevator, not able.to take stairs beyond second floor. Tub wouldn't drain while showering, one morning no hot water for the entire building. Toilet would only flush once or twice before not having any water pressure and wouldn't flush again. When I complained about it I was made to feel like it was my fault becauseno one else had complained before. Hotel was full, so they couldn't change rooms. Avoid this hotel, at least until they remodel. Pictures aren't what the hotel looks like, it has very low lighting, dingy and shabby in person.

Entire building felt damp. Room was not clean, and tub wouldn't drain. Took two days and 4 trips to the front desk to get it fixed. Front doors and elevator both make ridiculous amounts of mechanical noise every time you use them. They have coin operated laundry and no way to make change. I would not recommend staying.

Very outdated, our room has holes in the carpet. Very poor maintenance in the bathroom and through the whole place. Not clean at all, the elevator floor had something sticky on it the whole time we were there. Beds had no mattress covers on them. The light switch was pushed into the wall, the smoke detector was broken and wouldn’t close. I will never stay here again.

By far the WORST IHG property I have ever been to. Room and bed were nasty, we put our personal blankets on top of the bed as the sheets smelled of sweat.....GROSS! No shower curtain at all.....WOW!. Decor looked to be from the 70's. DON'T STAY HERE....

Great spot close to Hershey and not as pricey. A little older but well kept. Easy on/off major highways. Several well known eateries nearby. Breakfast is included and offers a good variety of options. Pleasant,helpful staff.
