This pharmacy is by far the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. The staff is rude, SLOW, and lazy. I just listened to a pharmacist yell impatiently at an elderly man who was obviously a little confused. When I was told I would have to wait another 15 minutes, the pharmacist yelled over “it’s going to be longer than that, I’m going to have to open the safe” with a tone that clearly showed her lack of empathy for customers. The cashier, after telling me “I’ll get to you when I can” went to the pharmacist and made rude remarks about me as if I couldn’t hear her.

I used to love this pharmacy. I got my scripts here in 2021 and 2022 and never had an issue. It's a small store and the hours aren't like other cvs stores but that's bc they don't have the same volume of business as some of the other locations. Anyways, I moved back to the Mechanicsburg area in Nov 2023 and went back to this cvs again for my scripts. Well, I will not be getting anything there after my experience on Jan 27th 2024. Whoever their newer young woman pharmacist is was extremely offensive on the phone. I called on a Saturday morning to ask them to get my script ready bc my Dr had sent it 4 days earlier but it couldn't be filled until the 27th. (Controlled substance) So I ask for them to get it ready and say I'm out of the medication bc at that point it was 30 days since it had been filled. She puts me on hold. Then she comes back on the phone asking me why I'm out of the medication bc by looking back at my record I had it filled 25 days apart in December and there's no way I should be out of this medicine, in fact I should have two weeks worth left. She said it looks like I was switching back and forth between giant and cvs and there's no way I should be out of the medication. She asked me if I was taking more than prescribed, etc. It was extremely rude and unprofessional of her. She said that she needed to put a note in the computer as to why I was out of the medicine!! I've never heard of such a thing in my life. The last time it was filled was 30 days prior to Jan 27th so there's no need for her to ask me why I was out or even look back into my records. I then had to explain to her that I moved in December and had lost alot of my medications. Not that it was any of her business! My doctor knew about the situation and that's the only person that needs to know. If the doctor sends the prescription and it gets approved by my insurance why does the pharmacist have to then ask me all these other questions. They don't. I didn't have to tell her anything and it was extremely out of line for her to even go into my private life and then accuse me of switching back and forth between pharmacies to try to get my medicine filled early. It was 30 days that day since I had previously filled it. I previously filled it at Giant because that's where they had it in stock. This medication has been on a nationwide shortage for over a year now. So I asked my doctor to send the prescription to whoever has it in stock at the time. She was so rude implying that I was taking too much medication and asking me all kinds of questions and then telling me that I switch back and forth between pharmacies. No actually I got it filled at CVS most of the time and then I went to Giant for the previous month and that was it. I don't know why these young kids out of college think they can play doctor with these medications but I will never get my medicine filled at that CVS again. It is just that pharmacist that I have a problem with, nobody else and not the store, just her. I hope that CVS management sees this and investigates who was working the day of January 27th and talk to the pharmacist about her interaction with customers. We are just trying to get our medication filled and we shouldn't have to deal with things like that just because the medication is a controlled substance. She was way out of line and very rude. I've never been so offended in my life by a pharmacist and I've had my share of some of them. Funny thing is it was another CVS that I had a problem with someone.

I drive a half hour to this location because they stock a med not everyone has and get this drug filled there every month. Waited for 45 minutes for a man posing as a pharmacist to say he wouldn't be filling the life sustaining med for my dog. Not sure why he couldn't tell me that when I first handed him the prescription, also not sure why he wouldn't fill it. When I asked to leave the script for the following day when the pharmacist I usually see working there comes in, he told me I couldn't because they would lose it. Wasted almost 2 hours of my life, gas, and now without the med my dog needs because of this crackerjack box "pharmacist" employed at this location. Had I not sat there without cause I could have gotten it filled elsewhere.

Frustration that the pharmacy did not have either of the prescriptions I needed. They would’ve gotten a five if they had, but I’m giving them four stars because of the great customer service! Twice they went out of their way, called around and finally found the prescription that I needed nearby.

I never go to any other drug store. None of them can match the personal service or the discounts and rewards I get in the pharmacy or the store.

Had to call CVS at 30 E. Simpson St. Today about filling a "difficult" prescription. I spoke with Kayla. I waited less than 3 minutes for my call to be taken and she was very polite and genuinely kind and helpful. Currently, CVS pharmacy, as many businesses have, had difficulty finding qualified people to adequately staff their pharmacies in several states I have visited or worked in.I really appreciate how kind Kayla was today after being treated terribly by employees at other pharmacies. I also want to say this: it is very easy to complain when you feel wronged or treated badly and many people are quick to call with negative feedback ( or post it on Yelp or Google) but it is just as easy to leave POSITIVE feedback when one encounters a helpful, hardworking and genuinely kind person. Thank you, Kayla!

I can see why this cvs has 3.1 stars. I called in to check on sons script as it stated it needed order and if I wanted to check other cvs stores to call this number for Simpson St. First off the person that answered the phone did not want to do her job and check the cvs on sporting hill and wanted me to call even though that's not what the text said. Then she wanted to argue with me cause I called it Simpson ferry road and not Simpson street. I said same thing and she said no its not you said Ferry and it's Simpson street is the correct address. If I was your boss and you did that to a customer you would be fired immediately. Hope the manager addresses this issue with her!!!

My mom and I were here receiving a flu shot we got them in seconds and were greeted and taken care of fast. However we then went to get pictures printed and the girl was very rude. Didn’t know how to answer questions so instead helped somebody else even though we couldn’t do anything without her help because it was asking for an associate. The pharmacy was overall great as usual, however the employees were not.

Worst Pharmacy ever!! RUDE unprofessional I'm literally followed through the entire store because they think I'm stealing!! I was mistreated because I worked and didn't have time to pickup 1 prescription...…Its a shame I love shopping in CVS to..
