With rewards CVS put on my card, I got a great deal at CVS today. And the CVS employee at the checkout helped me get all the rewards I had been offered. I hadn't downloaded the rewards correctly to my card, and she actually used my phone for me, to download all my rewards. Her patience and kindness were excellent!

Just left my cvs, Gettysburg Rd and there is a new employee who was on the floor stocking,,, i think she's a manager. Nastiest, rudest person I have ever encountered at this location. I have used this location for the past 8 years and I am seriously considering changing to a different location because I would hate to have to deal with her again.

This review is for the pharmacy.I scheduled an updated COVID vaccine appointment for 5:15 pm. Maybe it's still relatively new as none of the CVS' near my house had the vaccine available. I had to drive 3 times longer in distance to get to this particular location. I got there early at 5:05 pm. I saw a sign at the door saying the pharmacy closes at 5 pm today. I was perplexed but didn't think it applied to me because I just received both email and text confirmations as recent as an hour ago.When I got to the pharmacy counter, the metal curtains were already halfway down. I was about to announce myself but was quickly cut off. "The pharmacy is closed, " a pharmacist shouted. I went, "but I have a 5:15 appointment for the vaccine." She replied, "you will have to come back tomorrow." "But I received confirmation..." I was again cut off. "We're closed today at 5 pm". Every time I opened my mouth, I was cut off. As a result, I was dismissed without even finding out why I had to waste this trip.First, I felt played by this particular pharmacy; the confirmations turned out to be a joke. I also wasn't properly placated as a customer who duly showed up for his appointment and did nothing wrong, but ended up leaving the place confused and angry. I'm glad this location is far away, as I will never want to come back.

I have never had any issues with this pharmacy. Always have my prescriptions ready as promised, the staff is always polite and helpful. I tried another pharmacy closer to where I live now and my very first order was messed up and they actually lost my prescription orders ,( Weis in Newport) I ask my Doctor to call it into CVS at upper Allen Mechanicsburg, within a few hours my script was complete, it’s worth the extra miles for me to go back to MECHANICSBURG EVEN THOUGH there are some stores closer, this store I trust….

This has gone from a ok pharmacy to one of the worst I’ve experienced. Use the Weiss Market pharmacy, instead! The drive-thru at this CVS is closed. If you are sick, you have to get out of your car and walk to the back of the store and wait in lines to fill/pickup prescriptions; I waited 75 minutes today for my orders to be filled! - was told they would be filled in 15-20 minutes - finally gave up and went home; there are no chairs in the pharmacy lines for people who are too sick, too old, or too disabled to have to stand and wait in the long lines; the lines frequently back up quite a bit and no one behind the counter pays any mind or attention to all the people waiting - they need a pick-a-number system of helping people; the short pharmacist with black hair is so unpleasant - he acts like he hates his job and hates people - go work somewhere else! (the other pharmacist is great and is really helpful but I haven’t seen him in a while); the short girl at the register today, with long black hair, disappears from the cash registers and acts like she can’t be bothered to help; and the pharmacy closes for lunch every day (what store does that!!). I keep thinking things will get better, but the lines and the service just keep getting worse! I give this pharmacy hundreds of dollars of my business every month. Will be moving my drugs over to Weiss.

Horrible pharmacy. Sign says on Saturday they open at 9. Cashier said they had no pharmacist so would be opening at 11. Ridiculous. Will be transferring all my medications to the Weis pharmacy down the street. If you don't get medication from here now, I highly suggest you stay away.

My docs office called in a script. Went to pick it up and it was denied. Needed pre-approval. Back to docs they submitted again and got the approval from my insurance Co. Told it would take up to 72 hrs to go thru the system. Waited. Went to pick it up again...still needs pre-approval. Told me there was nothing they could do about it. Went back to doc's. They told me that they often have trouble with this pharmacy and that they are borderline rude and unhelpful. But they checked everything out again and said to wait another 72 hrs and try again. This happened 3xs. Forth try still the same thing. The docs office told me that it is definitely on CVS's end and that they could have gotten the pre-approval themselves but said they are too short handed to do that. It is now going on 2 weeks with no script and the people at the pharmacy are totally not helpful, never off an apology or try in the least to help. Twice after waiting in a long line to the register I was told the script wasn't approved and then told to wait all over again in the drop off window to talk with a pharmacist. These people never crack a smile...offer an apology or are nice in any way. I'm moving my scripts elsewhere. No wonder CVS's are closing all over the place.

No stars. My husband, a senior cititzen, went to the pharmacy to obtain a flu shot. CVS advertises "walk ins welcome". They turned my husband away last week. They told him that "walk ins" are only on Monday. He went back today, 9/11/2023. He was turned away AGAIN because they were short staffed. Meanwhile there was several workers back in the pharmacy! No customer service and to say the least, they are not paying for the gas for a senior citizen on a fixed income. I reported this store to 1-800-746-7287. More folks should do the same.

Personally I don't like to hold one bad experience with any business against them. So I rarely review anything at all. I've been disappointed by this business many many times, and because of that I think I'll be taking my business elsewhere.Some of those disappointments include the closing of the pickup window along with a really long wait in that line. It's great when you have little kids not to get them all out and take them in so the pickup window was really missed.Second and more pertinent to today and one other visit, is that they close for lunch.Please hire some more employees and run like a normal business.

I would just like to pick up my stuff w/o having to wait for half an hour or more in the drive through.
