Compassionate, truthful, doesn't do tests without checking with you and they are forthright about possibilities and probabilities. As with any vet it seems that they're more expensive than people doctors. However, if you are prepared to care for your animals, this is a great place to be when they are sick and not feeling well!

I have gone here for about 3 years. Dr Krusen and his staff have always been extremely kind and willing to answer questions as I've tried to navigate through the landscape of cat asthma. They're always willing to provide advice even over the phone when he has flareups.
I couldn't recommend him and his team more to anyone else. They have helped soothe my concerns more times than I'll admit.

Dr. Krusen and his staff are caring, friendly, and knowledgeable. We are a Navy family moving every few years, and it’s so nice to have found a reliable vet to care for our 3 pups here in PA.

I have been coming here with my parents for our family pets growing up when they were just a small office and now I've been bring my own dog here for 5 years since he was just a puppy and the clinic has grown. Everyone is always very friendly and organized. The rooms are very clean and the care we are given is personal and well done. My dog was recently attacked by another dog on a Saturday when they are closed. I called and left a message and was called back not too long after. I was able to stop by and get medication for my dog that same night. It's been great watching the clinic grow since I first starting coming with my parents as a kid. I would definitely recommend Countryside Animal Clinic

Very very clean and fairly priced for emergency services. Thank you for caring for our little pup, Watson. The vet on call was very knowledgeable and helped us make educated decisions on care for our dog. Thank you! The picture is an early picture from his online video career. Lol

We are so glad we started taking our cat to Dr. Krusen, he saved our cat Sam's life.
Sam ate some rubber/foam toy and had some of it lodged in his small intestine and causing a blockage making him very sick. Dr. Krusen diagnosed and operated and removed the object over the weekend and saved his life. Thank you Dr. Krusen and staff.
Also the staff has called us a couple of times checking up to see how Sam is doing.
We would not want to take our pet anywhere else and would highly recommend Countryside Animal Clinic.

We lost our dog in October. I have YET to hear an “I’m so sorry” from Dr krusen. He took care of this dog for 16 years!!! He is the most non compassionate vet we have ever had. Then our 2nd dog was diagnosed with mouth cancer. He never told us that , even though he claims he did. I would have remembered that. He hardly EVER touched either dog when we had them in and NEVER picked them up to place them on the table even though the one time the dog was right at his feet!!!!!! He has signs everywhere in his office not to buy any drugs from anyone other than him. Which he marks up 200%. Not Chewy, or any other place other than him. Now he has a pharmacy at his business. We will Never ever go to him again. He trained with a vet named Joseph Hauser in Dillsburg who has passed away recently. He would be appalled at this guys behavior. No compassion, arrogant and sometimes rude. His staff is courteous and kind. The only good thing about this place. Very disappointing. He was not like this when we first went there. Money has changed him. I don’t think he even likes animals. What a shame. He puts on a good show for his clients. Compassion??? No not this vet. We started to go to Valley Green Veterinary hospital. What a complete difference. Women vets. You can tell they care and we loved how they treated our dog. They even TOUCHED him!!! What a concept! We never knew any different till we went to them. Wonderful vets.
