After the third visit with more and more requested information to open an account, and after the bank representative became aggressive, we began to wonder if we had slipped into an alternate universe. Yes, we moved on and got an account with an institution that has human beings working for it.

I have never delt with less professional financial institution ever. When speaking with Mark Beans he stated he would rather speak with my husband after making multiple womanizing remarks making me feel as if i couldnt deal with the situation myself. After including my husband on a three way call he would ignore me and talk over me as if i wasnt there and making very demeaning remarks. I then contacted his supervisor John Needs, he was not much better. They do not care about there customers or there customers needs even though if it were not for us they would not have a job. I never felt more disrespected and less appriciated as a customer ever. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Americhoice was founded in 1970 by a small group of IBM employees. At that time my father worked for IBM. He was not a founder, but he and my mother were two of its first members when they opened their doors. It remained that way until his passing in 2014 and until her passing this past March 2018. 48 years that one or both of my parents did business there and made them money. After her passing, initially, I had the same documentation problem as mentioned by other review. Apparently the documents from Cumberland County Courthouse were not sufficient. Eventually it got worked out over a 4-5 day period. The reason for my post is two fold. Firstly, I have called in twice asking to speak to a supervisor and have not been given the courtesy of a return call. Secondly, my mother had a line of credit for 52k. She also had a house worth more than that. The estate was maintaining her bills well until 1 month, for the first time, when her line of credit payment was late. The estate was out of cash. My siblings and I put money in to pay the bills and keep the estate afloat. I had spoken to Marci Barney and Mark Beans. When I spoke to Mr. Beans about what was going on and why we were late, his response was astounding. "We aren't going to have a lot of patience," he said. I told him the house was on market to sell to pay everything off and we couldn't find a buyer yet. "So drop the price," was his next response. I was stunned. For 48 years my parents were never late. Their estate is late once, after they are dead, and the response is "we aren't gonna have a lot of patience and drop the price?" These people don't even comprehend it's because of people like my parents that helped grow their business to what it is today that they even have a place to call work. These people don't care about their customers, just their money. I couldn't have been more offended, not for me, but for my mother because those comments do not give her the due deference she is owed after almost 5 decades of being a customer. She deserves more respect than that. I found Americhoice and it's employees and the way they treat people to be offensive and of very low quality. If I could give 0 stars I would. I could not recommend these people or this institution to anyone in good conscience.
