I called to check on the availability of a prescription that I have been waiting on for over 6 weeks. I didn't even get finished asking before we got disconnected. I tried to call back two more times, and call was immediately disconnected. Meadville Giant Eagle has been going in the dumper for a couple years now.

The lady on the phone was pushy and opinionated and a know it all. She also said Corn is not put in medicine but it is put in medicine in the inactive ingredients. I should know I look at labels all the time because I have so many medicine/ food allergies. That lady was extremely infuriating and not very kind. She wanted to know my information and was mean about it. They need to change their pharmacy and put food allergies on the list. I am glad this is not my main pharmacy because I would never want to deal with them again if I don't have to even for one prescription. Walmart Pharmacy is so much kinder and wants a list of my Medicine Allergies and Food Allergies. I would go to Walmart Pharmacy they are so much kinder to people that are different and not like everybody else.

I called ahead because I had 3 sick toddlers with me. They told me 20 minutes. A half hour later we all showed up tk be told another 20 minutes. A half hour later they told us they were busy and it would be yet another 20 minutes. Poor customer service. They could have grabbed the simple antibiotic and filled it.

Pharmacy technician was extremely rude and hung up on me when asking for information about my meds. Will never go back or recommend to others.

A huge thank you to the girl working in the pharmacy on Christmas eve who still rang me up despite the fact they were closing and getting ready to go home! I had to start my antibiotics so I didn't get worse and she definitely saved me from feeling yucky on Christmas! I have always liked this pharmacy and the staff because they really do try their best to ensure everyone gets what they need.

I have never been to a place where too many employees treat the customers like sht. It isn’t everyone. The worst is the deli manager (I think) this old woman with fake red hair is the rudest btch I have met since my ex wife. I have complained politely 3 times. But she is steadfast in treating me like sht. Giant Eagle makes it worth while to shop there. But their staff doesn’t deserve to hold jobs

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.When they don’t know what they’re doing they keep you on hold forever (probably hoping you’ll just hang up), and they’re extremely rude. I would avoid this pharmacy.

Giant Eagle was my preferred store, but they have been a big disappointment in the last several months. i have bought fruit and vegetables that were rotten on more than one occasion. Baked potatoes, organic strawberries and apples were rotten. They also have a habit of discontinuing items I bought there for years. Some of those products are the Giant Eagle brand. I’ve had my prescriptions here for 15 years or so. The more time goes on, the worse they get. In the past year, I’ve learned that they absolutely won’t fill a prescription until you arrive to pick it up. I’ve waited for the confirmation text for several days before thinking that my doctor never sent it in - only to find out that they received the prescriptions and were just sitting on them.This time, I called ahead to let them know I was sending my partner to pick up my prescriptions in the morning, and they still didn’t fill them until he arrived. They were also very rude to him. The one positive thing that kept me from leaving a bad review was my assumption that they were just always overworked and very busy, however the rudeness is unnecessary.
