We have brought several of our animals in for care here. They are amazing! Dr Andres is the most kind hearted vet I have ever met. And I have heard nothing but great things about the rest of them as well. The staff is excellent!

Treat softly! They told me my cat had a “blockage” and that I had to get surgery. Thankfully, they don’t do emergency surgeries or my cat would have been cut open for no reason. I asked if there was a way we could just keep her on an iv, the vet said if we wait it could damage my cat. Caused all this problems for nothing. Dare I say they don’t actually care for the pets, just in it for the money!

I started bringing my cat, Marceline, to the Animal Hospital of Meadville back in 2022 and I couldn’t recommend them enough. Their staff is professional, courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. I moved to Erie at the end of 2022 but after trying my luck with another pet clinic here, I will continue to make the drive to Meadville for all of Marceline’s medical needs. Marceline was recently in to remove a growth she’d developed on her front leg. After two miserable months dealing with a clinic here in Erie that ended up doing more harm than good, I called the Animal Hospital of Meadville. I was at my wit’s end when I called, and Bev at the front desk was the first person I spoke with. Her level headedness and compassion over the phone was such a relief after the nightmare I’d been enduring from the other clinic. I was able to get in with Dr. Baird and greatly appreciated her expertise and excellent bedside manner. Post surgery, Marceline is doing much better! She’s running and playing and getting into trouble for the first time in weeks. Unfortunately, they did discover that this growth was cancerous and will likely continue to grow back on her leg, but Dr. Baird made sure to go over all my options and answer any questions I had when she called me with the biopsy results. At the very least, I can take comfort in knowing that the Animal Hospital of Meadville veterinary staff will be there to help me take care of Marceline every step of the way, no matter what the future holds for her. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all for taking care of my best friend.

I must leave a review because this place has been amazing to me. They treat me like I am the most important person in the world and really have done so much for me and my pets in a short amount of time. I highly recommend the Animal Hospital of Meadville.

I just wanted to come on here and say how much I love this place! I’ve had to bring in my 16 yo cat here numerous times for health issues and they are GREAT. Dr Andreas goes over options with me, doesn’t make me feel bad for being unemployed and limited with spending, and comes up with options. All the techs are super gentle with my poor old lady. Other vets have just told me “She’s old, put her down.” Meanwhile this hospital treated her today and she’s already eating and playing with my other cat! There won’t be a solution forever, but I’m so grateful they really try to help and give me more good quality time with my senior kitty!

Dr. Andres is wonderful! The staff pleasant and very helpful. Prices are high for the area with little extra fees.

Wow, I can't believe you let a dog die in labor in
Your parking lot. You could have easily stopped your declaw procedure and helped that beautiful husky. I don't care if your not an emergency clinic where is your empathy and ethics. There are no emergency clinics in the area. You younger generation of vets are very scarey. You seem to lack empathy. You would have never found a older veterinarian that would have let a dog die in labor in the parking lot. Your message back to the owner is disgusting. Saying she's making you feel guilty and it's her fault. You really need to take a look at yourself. Why are you a vet? When you meet God someday what are you gonna tell him your reason was for letting that dog suffer. It's the owners fault? More like you just didn't care and didn't want the extra work!

Not very professional try to charge for ridiculous things. Have had my dogs there I don't know how many times in the past few months. Try to make an appointment to get their nails cut. They say they can't till they get a wellness check up. Meanwhile all there shots are up to date. They did them. Anything for money. No love for the animals at all. Pathetic.
