Sun Chevrolet is one of the better car dealers in the Pittsburgh area. Very professional and friendly the minute you step in the door. I just bought a used 2022 Chevy Bolt here. It was either a lease turn in or a trade in. In any event it was spotlessly clean, had new tires and so far it has been flawless. From the minute I sat in the car I loved it. After 2 weeks of driving it I love it even more. I would say that Nick Terminato is one of the better car salesman I've met in my life ( I'm 64 and have owned 10 cars and trucks since high school). He answered all my questions about making the leap to EV's. It's not an easy decision, but based upon my gasoline savings alone, this is the most economical car I could have picked. I highly recommend GM's EV's. I think the engineering is excellent. My Bolt was assembled in Orion Township Michigan. Things have come a long way with GM Assembly since the 70's. I have looked for something wrong with this car and literally can't find anything to complain about.

I cannot recommend that anyone have their car serviced at Sun Chevrolet. My car was in for an upper radiator hose replacement. There were a few other related parts that had to be replaced. Understandable. I also agreed to an oil change and tire rotation. When I received my car back the tires were not rotated. Additionally, there was no sticker on the window for the oil change. I called back and expressed my concern. Thankfully, the person I spoke with on the phone was very helpful and directed me to bring the car in that day and he would have the oil changed and tires rotated. I also mentioned that after I received the car back that the engine was not running well, stumbling was the word I used, and that the StabiliTrack Service warning was showing on the dash. The fellow told be he would have that checked as well. I showed up right after work and the person I was greeted by was nothing but rude. He had my oil changed and tires rotated which was great but I had to ask about the Engine warning. He rudely blamed me that it was my fault for refusing a spark plug change. So I asked if he could have them changed and his answer was a very strong "NO". I distinctly remember a phone conversation before the work began on my car with a service person who suggested that my spark plugs would need to be changed in the near future which, to me, meant I could do that at a later time. So I drove my car home with an engine sputtering and struggling and warning lights on the dash. Oh, and this was all after I paid them over 1,200.00 dollars. Don't ever go to Sun Chevrolet. They just want your money. I've lost so much respect for Chevrolet. I honestly believed taking my car to the dealership instead of any other auto repair shop would result in the best possible service to my car. Lesson painfully learned. I've owned a lot of cars and have spent a fair amount of time in service depts, SO, I can tell you where NOT to go. Been going to Sun for 3 yrs now and they are great. Bought my last 2 cars elsewhere but if I ever lease or buy again it'll probably be at Sun.

I decided to go to the Sun Chevy for our inspection because it’s where my wife bought the car. It’s been two months since then and I’m still furious about it. I don’t think I will be returning there in the future.
After checking our vehicle out I was told that we needed 4 new tires, new brake pads and rotors, and new sway bar links. $1700. It seems like every time I go to a dealership they insist that I need new tires brakes and rotors. It’s amazing! You take the same car to anyone else in the world and they will tell you that you don’t. Unfortunately I was starting a new job that week that involved a lot of travel and I would not have another opportunity to get an inspection done. So I paid the ransom of $1700 for their services. I got the car home and found that they’ve left a plastic clip between the rim and the tire on one rear tire, which I will need to have removed eventually. But on the other tire about 2 days after having this done, my tire pressure sensor went off. After inspecting the tire a number of times I finally found it was due to a leaking valve stem. It would’ve been a lot easier to find if I could remove the tire, but they warped a lug nut by over tightening it. So here I am $1700 and two months later, having to fill my tire about every 3 days. It seems like every time I take my car to a dealership, they find more things wrong with it than what actually exists, and it leaves with more problems then when it got there.

I bought a used car here in April from Sarah Ackerman Campano. Wonderful experience. Had a few minor mechanical issues after I bought the car and Sarah and Chris Cardiges worked to resolve them quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend purchasing a car from Sun Chevrolet in McMurray.

I was a loyal customer since purchasing my suv here in 2021. All service and maintenance has been provided by Sun. I've never had a problem, until this time.
I had to come back 5 separate times for service to fix the oversights of a careless technician. The quality and integrity of their work is subpar at best.
They overlooked my part coming in and had my car for 4 days, then lied to me and said the part never came in..their fix was to keep the car and give me a loaner, for which they then charged to my warranty company, despite it being their own error/oversight (for which they never took accountability).
Each time they've serviced my car recently, they've left greasy/dirty handprints on my headliner.
Even after I asked them to clean it, it came back dirty. I had to speak with the service manager and bring it back at a later time to get the issue rectified. Only to come back because the sunroof repair they'd installed wasn't done correctly and rattled. When I got the car back for a 5th time, my headliner was all marked up again.
I'm extremely disappointed at the lack of care for other peoples' property, the lack of integrity of the work, and the number of times I had to bring these things to their attention, and the complete disregard of peoples' time.
Also, though I sent over in advance a reminder I was promised a price match on tires, the service person "forgot" to do it, so I again had to make an issue of something I'd already discussed and emailed over to that same person multiple times.
I'm already not comfortable speaking up or making issues of things, so to have to do it so many times over and over was my literal hell.
Its all just left a bad taste, and I just don't trust them anymore. Pretty much every single time I've interacted with them there's a new problem that arises and I really don't think there's anything they could do to win my business back. Either in service or purchasing my next vehicle.
I'm extremely disappointed.
