The wait was reasonable with noon appointment time. The desk staff were courteous and effective. The nurse who first interviewed me was likewise pleasant. The doctor was excellent and spent the time to explain my condition and what he was prescribing to help me. I’d give it 10 stars if that was an option.

We love this Med Express! So appreciative of the fact that not only when we are ill we have an option but we have had to utilize the staff for sports physicals, DOT and injuries! I used the scheduling feature for the first time and that was great! The front desk staff is always professional and helpful. The physicians and PA's are great! Dr. Avolio and Beth the PA are awesome! This is an updated post. We had a wonderful PA yesterday again we are very grateful for this Facility. We highly recommend this facility and our grateful we have one in our community!

I arrived early - was seen in a reasonable amount of time. Was greeted and treated with professionalism. Had a good conversation with the Doctor, felt heard and not rushed. X-Ray tech was very empathetic and extremely gentle while gathering the pictures she needed . The whole experience was very comforting -

Could not provide the services as advertised on the website (provide IV fluids). Took my copay though and we had to go to the ER for care. Rude medical assistant as well.

Sat in lobby for an hr then was seen by a nurse practitioner (did nothing for me ) only to be told I needed to go to an emergency room left and went to hospital where they gave me a tetanus shot and antibiotics
I payed a $65 dollar copay to med express and they also billed my health insurance for doing nothing for me . What is med express good for if they can’t give a tetanus shot or a prescription for antibiotic . SEEMS WRONG TO PAY FOR NOTHING

I called to ask if I could receive x-rays for a broken foot as I am pregnant. The woman I spoke with explained that they would not take x-rays unless it was severe. I completely understand that, it’s no problem. My problem was with the extreme attitude and being hung up on when I asked if they would be able to assess my foot without an x-ray. I was not aggressive or rude, however I was very rudely interrupted on more than one occasion saying “I’m not clinical, I can’t give medical advice” in a very abrasive and abrupt manner. I’m not sure she even listened to my question as I couldn’t finish a sentence. I’m not sure why telling me if a doctor can assess my foot without an x-ray is medical advice. I even thanked her toward the end of our call as she very arrogantly hung up on me before I could finish the words. Extremely unprofessional.

Visited McMurry location on 6/1/24 and received the most professional care. Front desk was quick to check me in, I spent 45 minutes here from start to finish. Dr. Avolio was very professional and was very gentle with me considering that I get anxiety when it comes to anything medical.

My husband called me to tell me he had been stung by a bee in his truck and he was going into MedExpress. He went in and he told them what had happened and he normally has some sort of reaction in the past when stung. They did nothing and just made him sit there. He proceeded to say something about needing his information back and that he was leaving after sitting for 20+ minutes for the lady to say “ oh we can take you now.” They were unprofessional and didn’t even show an ounce of concern for a patient. I hope that the healthcare world can get it together soon because ever since Covid, they take nothing serious especially here at ME.

PSA - don’t bring your baby here to get care.
We signed in, gave all of our 7 month old’s info, sat to wait for about 30 minutes. When we were called that it was our turn the nurse was confused why we were there and said “we don’t have any care for infants.” Not only that, but she looked at us and spoke to us as if that was obvious (first time parents). Even if it was obvious why wouldn’t you be kind about it when we’re clearly distressed over our child?
All in all, the point is why in the world did they have us sign in and wait if they don’t treat babies.

i don’t do reviews, but worst experience i’ve ever had in my life. came in to get something checks out, and they prescribe me two medications. i was not addressed that i could be allergic to one of these medications until i made my way to the pharmacy and found out there. after finding out i could possibly have an allergic reaction to this, i called med express back to try to get anything else, obviously to avoid the reaction. i have never been talked to so poorly in my entire life. the only response i got was you will be fine if you take it. there’s slim chance you will have a flare up. lone behold, i start going through an allergic reaction. i would just like to say that this is completely irresponsible and ridiculous. as a patient who paid money, i should at least be addressed and not ignored. strongly do not recommend this place. your money is better off somewhere else.
