“Love coming here to peruse the shelves and get new things to try! I’m a creature of habit so being able to go and taste helps me try new things and they are always super helpful. They have a wide selection, I’m always pleased to see they have single cans just in case you don’t want to commit to a six or twelve pack of something you may not like. Also the staff is just super nice, good people, and always pleasant to talk to while you browse. This is a must visit place for non-alcoholic beverages if you’re in Pittsburgh, visitor or resident.”
“The selection of beers here is top notch. I'm a sucker for some 4 packs of local pounders, and they have some great ones. Dancing Gnome, Hitchhiker, Cinderlands, East End, they're all here. They also have domestics and lots of typical larger craft breweries 12 packs. As expected, those smaller 4, 6, and 12 packs can be a little pricey, but that's how it goes everywhere. To top it all off, the employees are super nice. Highly recommended if you value good beverages.”
“Beer88 is my go-to place before a party, the selection is exceptional and the staff is knowledgeable and extremely helpful. As a recent non-alcoholic drinker, and I was unsure if Beer88 would have anything for me. I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing selection of so many types of non-alcoholic beer, and some non-alcoholic wine. Beer88 is my go-to for all parties from now on. Highly recommend coming to see what new selection is in store”
“Been coming here since I was a kid now only buying water but nonetheless is still a great place. It’s hard to find 5 gallon top or bottom style water cooler refills and they have it reasonably priced actual springwater and if you need some of that courage in the bottle personality enhancing nectar they got plenty of that too.. always best pricing around. And the famous one for the road slushy bar machines, someday I’ll get one”
“Already reviewed when the place first opened but I love coming here. It's super convenient and the staff members are super nice and always helpful. Always have a positive experience when I come here”

820 PA-519, Eighty Four“Located on Rt 519 in Eighty Four, PA, the 519 Beer stop is the place to go if you're looking for a variety of beers. They have imports, domestic, and craft beers. What's also helpful is that the staff will answer any questions that you have about beer. Employees will also carry the cases of beer out to your car.”
“Love this place! They have the best selections, great prices and awesome customer service. You can also get an alcoholic slushie to go and they do not disappoint!”
“Was a decent place to get beer until a manager told me to leave after I questioned his decision to sell beer that went from cold to warm after their fridges went out. He called me elitist for saying I write beer reviews. Not sure how you can be elitist for that, but okay. I did a bit of research on this subject after the manager responded (which was nice of him) and I stand partially corrected. It turns out that beer can go from cold to warm and not get 'skunked,' but in my experience--and many others'--there's a taste difference after going from cold to warm that's notable. It wasn't exactly cold in the shop; it was warm. But I'll err on the side of saying I have learned something from this exchange and I'll adjust my rating accordingly.”

429 W Main St, Carnegie“Not just a great place for beer (they have a real nice selection), but a great place for soda pop too. My go to place when I need a case of locally-made Red Ribbon Pop (I special ordered the Bitter Lemon, but some flavors are in stock), or Mexican Coke (made with real sugar and no HFCS), in glass bottles. Friendly staff ... Cheers!!”

4986 Library Rd, Bethel Park“These guys are the best in the area. They have amazing customer service, staff is always friendly, and they offer to hold something for you if they have it in stock and one left. I also love their commitment to having local breweries in their offerings. I try to give them all my business because they are so great to deal with. Can’t recommend them enough!”
11AM - 7PM
10 Old Clairton Rd, Pittsburgh“The have fine wine and spirits... And you can play the lottery here. My only issues is that they always explain how to use the debit machine. Just explain it if someone has trouble, otherwise let me get my booze and split.”
“These folks are great. Love the small local cooler that is always stocked with greats from Hitchhiker, Grist House, (increasingly) more. Thanks for being in the neighborhood!”
“These folks are always so very helpful when I'm looking for new NA brews. They were fantastic with helping my brother in law who's up from Virginia with a selection of Pittsburgh beers to take back to the Steelers fans there. Just outstanding!”
“Picked up a couple cases of Irons here on my way through Pittsburgh, can't say enough good about the place! Friendly, fast, and helpful. Asked if they had cases if IC, the fellow there said, "Well, yeah!" I shoulda known haha. Grabbed a couple and headed out, caught them right before they closed, but no problems.”
“I’m not a drinker but this location remained open late during the pandemic which was helpful to some of the people in the neighborhood. They kind of share a parking lot with the hanini mart which can make it a tight squeeze but plenty of cars can fit they have handicap parking right in front.”

“I give this restaurant a 5 star because every time I go they never disappoint me. They have amazing survive I have never had to wait over an hour to get our food. The portions are really nice and the food is so good. The outside is very nice and has lots of room for kids to play. They are super nice there and I definitely recommend going there!”

519 Towne Square Way, Pittsburgh“Gave advice on a bottle of wine and where it was located. This occurred on Christmas eve, while the hustle and bustle of last minute gift purchasing was going on in the store.”
“One of the smaller stores but with a nice selection. I'm more surprised by what they have, in inventory, than what they do not. Best thing is the knowledgeable and friendly staff.”
“I have been going here for years and i love it! The staff are always friendly, they have a great selection, my beer is always in stock and the prices are reasonable! Love all the new updates they have completed. Especially removing the plastic curtains to get in the back! lol! Thanks so much for maintaining such an awesome establishment! :-)”
“On my search across Pittsburgh I realized how hard it was to find Soju from Korea. On the off chance I decided to try yet another state store in Caste Village.Instead of randomly searching I inquired upon entering.....SURPRISE and THRILLED to find out that yes they did have it in stockI can't tell you how happy this made me. Though limited in Asian liquors Soju was finally found.”
“My favorite liquor store in Las Vegas, now here in Pittsburgh. The prices are still very competitive and they have good deals on seasonal liguor.Store employees are all pleasant and helpful.”

3929 Washington Road, McMurray“I walked in with a picture on my phone of the wine that I was looking for and the manager left his register and helped me find exactly what I was looking for... even searched for more in the back room. What a considerate thing to do! There's your job and then there's going above and beyond. A very happy customer!”
“Very nice employees, Always willing to help. So many choices. If you can't find it here, then you won't find it anywhere else. There is one guy that works at the checkout that is not very nice. I think he has an accent.”
“The place I used to go to divulge my fears concerning The X-Files reruns. The guy who worked in the evening with the soul patch and earring "understood". Ya know? (I also used to purchase my occasional can of White Claw there.) I didn't give them five stars because, once again, no Gitanes!Bob no longer works at Bob's Distributor, but it may interest some to know that my father, my older brother, and my younger brother were all named Bob They had no investments in this business. My father had his own store in Pleasant Hills, but that's a story for the PH of the past.”
“I always have a good experience when I shop here. The store is moderatly sized. Everything is pretty easy to find the best part of the store is using the new lottery machines they accept debit cards.”
“Its a relatively small store. I wish their scotch selection was a bit larger. The staff was great and they seem to be following covid precautions pretty seriously.”
“My favorite place to go for beer and cigars...tbh, the only place I'll go...great prices, great selection and the girl that's usually there, Kelly... always has a smile on her face, quite knowledgeable and couldn't be more helpful.”
