Rude and overpriced. I was there with my mom last weekend and saw a cat tree that she wanted to buy without a price tag. We asked the price to the employees and they fumbled around for a while, and they went to the front, and came back and said it was $159. My mother purchased it. There was no mention to us, on the website, or on the receipt that the store does not accept any returns. This weekend, we were out shopping and saw the same exact cat tree at Pet Supplies Plus for $78. I called and spoke with an employee twice who was extremely rude to me and said I needed to speak with the owner. After multiple tries, I finally spoke with the owner and explained the situation, and that the tree has not even yet been removed from the car. She informed me that she is a small business and needs to make a profit, so there is a markup, and there are no returns or price matching. She said she can’t help it if there was a lower price somewhere else, and that it would be the same if I went to a restaurant and they had a special on food and it was lower price for a day . If it would have been a few dollars difference, I wouldn’t have said a word, but the price was over double. I questioned the pricing of the tree since there wasn’t a tag, and she said that if I emailed her a picture of it, she would check the pricing. I then told her that I just ordered 3 cases of dog food from the store, and had discussed ordering 3-4 cases a month with the employees while I was there, and I am no longer interested in that. She snapped at me and said, well if that’s the way it’s going to be, I’m not going to help you - and hung up on me. We spent close to $400 there last weekend - we will be taking our business elsewhere.

First impression.... Fantastic. Knowledgeable and extremely helpful staff, small store with a lot in it. Small selection of Fish n Rodent (Guinea Pig). Stuff. Didn't venture into fowl or cat sections, toys, food, treats, hygiene and even special occasion treats for Dogs. Will return.

Excellent customer service, friendly knowledgeable staff, and large variety of products.I was referred to Leone’s by a fellow bengal cat owner when I was looking for local places that sold raw food as my supplier was out. Leone’s staff was very helpful and special ordered the food for me. I was so impressed with the friendly staff and the store that now I almost exclusively shop there for my pet supplies. As a transplant to Pittsburgh, I likely would have just stuck to the chain stores but I’m so glad I found Leone’s. Check this place out!

Very friendly staff, great selection of products and fair prices. This is our go to store for anything pet related. They always welcome our french bulldog Clyde wherever we bring him in.

Lady working behind the register was more interested in reprimanding my daughter for picking up one of their stuffed animals than she was in answering my questions about product. At one point she walked away from me while I was talking to her to take the stuffed animal from my daughter and put it back on the shelf. I put my stuff down and walked out…we will not be back.
