My experience going to planet fitness is great it’s clean and the staff is really friendly and helpful. The machines are great to use and are always wiped dwn and operational.

The new hours are awful. Why be open 24 hours 3 days in the middle of the week and not on weekends? Its such a weird schedule that doesnt make sense. Im tired of seeing the "responses from owner" saying "Our clubs are independently owned and operated. Talk to a manager." If the owner is responding back to me and others on here then why would i or anyone else need to talk to a manager when your reading my and others reviews and commenting on it? I worked for Planet Fitness in the past and the manager has no control over the hours, only the franchise manager/ or owner can change that. When i joined planet fitness they advertised "open 24/7 and holidays". Now theres none around that are. There sinking there own ship with members like me. Ive been a member for 5+ years but i may sign up for anytime fitness because i like to workout when its convient and the new hours at the gym are anything but.

New 24/5 hours are ridiculous. I'm so tired of these penny-pinching Planet Fitness clubs. Some of us can only work out overnight due to our schedules, and this club's management clearly does not care at all. All in the name of making a buck, it's shameful. Why should I pay the same amount of money for less gym access? I will likely be cancelling my membership permanently. Hope others do the same to send a message. Not a good business strategy.

Not enough equipment and hours are confusing and unreasonable. Why have a gimmick that its open 24 hours when you change it to close at 9 pm on Friday and 7pm on weekends. The only reason I go is that its the only commercial gym i live by.

I felt the need to write this after having to cut my time at the gym short again thanks to the new hours. I work steady night shift. A big part of the allure of joining this gym was that it was 24 hours- I could go whenever I was awake and functional enough. Now, the gym closes early on 3 of my 4 days off in a 2 week period. I used to always be able to fall back on the fact that I could go late in the evening/night if I slept in on my days off. Well, no longer. I hate time constraints, and these new hours have made me miss days of going to the gym. Closing at 7pm on the weekends is especially terrible- I work every other weekend and I'm sure others do as well.
All that being said, I do enjoy this gym. It's clean, doesn't smell, and the staff have always been friendly. I'm also glad bigger shower curtains were recently added to the showers. Not having to worry about the curtain swaying and people seeing me naked is a big plus. I know it's a far shot, but bring back being open 24 hours every day! The only other Planet Fitness nearby that's always 24 hours is in West Mifflin, and it has some pretty terrible reviews (and is not minutes from my house).

I really love this gym. The place is clean and the staff is really nice. What I don’t like is wasting my money. With the new hours, it makes it nearly impossible for me to get there now which means my money is going down the drain. I can’t even go to another planet fitness because I would have to pay MORE on top of what I already pay monthly. I will be leaving this gym and going to a gym that won’t cut the hours and charge me the same amount. The owners really messed up when they decided these new hours were a good fit. They should have checked with the people keeping this building open before they made this asinine decision.
