These pics are not even 24 hours later. There is no mirror so you cant see what she is doing while styling. I'm a licensed cosmetologist as well an I could have did better myself honestly an I don't even braid for a living. Not sure why she would continue to braid knowing she couldnt tuck my hair. Look at my middle part its not neat at all to the point she brought a piece of hair in the front into a braid it wasnt supposed to be in. I dont get my hair braided often so never thought someone with experience would professionally think this was acceptable. I waited a week to get in her chair, she assured me she had experience with my hair type but this is what i got. She gave me a $100 out of 300 refund but this is a mess I'm so disappointed an embarrassed she should have never continued to braid or charged me knowing I wouldn't be able to wear the style. She needs a mirror so people can see what she is doing, I really hope she doesn't do this to anyone again. I've NEVER braided an parted my kids hair this sloppy on a bad day. Really in disbelief that she could be this careless of a braider.

There was a woman serviced before me and she told me that she’s been going to Ms Vicky 4-5 years, her hair was still beautiful. Believe the other reviews! These are the worse knotless braids ever! I paid Jean $180 for these horrible braids (she asked for $200 initially). Go to B&B Hair Braiding in Hackensack instead.

Horrible service. They gave me the wrong service, offered to fix it by helping me by taking out the style and redoing it. They CHOPPED my hair off completely when taking the style down. When I took out the redo hair style, I had to get a hair cut because my hair was two different lengths, which it was not before. The braider had just braided my hair the night before so she knew the length of my hair. Then the redo was very sloppy. They DO NOT care about your hair, only the money. Beware

I went to the shop for the second time and I saw a picture on the wall and I asked for that style. As The stylist was braiding the back first, I said that is not how the picture looks then she said she didn't want to finish my hair and sent me to somebody else and the lady gave me a whole another hairstyle in the front. And had the nerve to charge me $60! I can't see me going into some place asking for a certain style and come out with a totally different one and then they talk in a language that I don't understand which is very rude and disrespectful. Their parts aren't even straight!! Never again. Never ever again!

I love Vickys Hair Salon. It's clean and they are extremely professional. The owner and her staff is very professional. The braiding is neat and Vicky is a perfectionist her Akroo and Sonya.

First I was told to come at 9am and didn't get started til 9:45am and didn't leave til 2pm. I wanted simple cornrows and they did such a horrible job I left with half of my hair done. It looked nothing like the picture I showed her. The feed-in technique was sloppy, the braids were bulky and touching, you couldn't see the parts in-between. I was so disappointed I wanted to cry. How are they still in business?! Should have sat and observed their work or read all the bad reviews before choosing this salon...lesson learned. And judging from what I saw the other braider doing No one in this salon can braid hair. Wasted my money and my time smh
