“Good facility, good hours and good staff. Only thing holding it back from five stars is the fact that the safety bars are not adjustable on the squat rack, requiring you to take several back to leave the squat rack so you can reach full depth (I'm only 5'8", for reference, and the squat rack safety bars are about 2-3 inches too high for me).”
“I am truly impressed by the professional coaches at D1 Training Team. My son has shown significant mental and physical growth in a short period by their guidance and support. Thanks to all the coaches for their dedication and positive impact on my son's development.”

2121 Mary St, Pittsburgh“I worked out at CFA while visiting Pittsburgh with my wife in August 2024. Overall a great facility in an historic building in South Side Flats: the New Brewhouse 1950, a part of the once thriving Duquesne Brewery Company. CFA has lots of floor space, rig room and equipment. Good parking on the street. This is a warehouse box: old industrial with big garage doors. (My only criticism is that the floor is slightly uneven, but this is unsurprising given the heritage of the building and a small quibble). While we attended an open gym slot, the coach on staff that day, Dylan, was very helpful, assisting my wife with her bespoke HYROX training plan. He ensured that a sled was available and provided my wife with a good space outside to push it as well as coaching tips. I will be back next time I am in the Steel City. Four of five stars only because I didn't attend a regular class and can't comment on the quality of the coaching. Otherwise, I strongly recommend.”
“I joined this gym to get in shape and learn some kettlebell skills and I've got that and more! I've had the pleasure of taking classes with 3 of the coaches and they have all been friendly and professional. The workouts have been tough but the coaches always have ways to adapt the work to your body type and current fitness level. The people at the gym have great as well; it's a cool community of people who are looking to put in the work! Great gym, cannot recommend it to anyone looking to get or stay fit!”
“The PERFECT Stretch. Tried a 25 min stretch at Stretch Lab. Was able to focus on an area during this session. Assisted stretching help move the body and active blood flow! StretchLab helps to increase flexibility, range of motion & energy! StretchLab offers both 25 min and 50 min sessions- both are perfect and come with their own benefits! They offer session packs and monthly memberships.”
“This was my first time at the studio and doing kickboxing in general! Jeff was very thorough and helpful! I had an amazing time and am excited to keep doing this to push myself. The class was also amazing and Kohm was great!”

4885 McKnight Rd Suite 19A, Pittsburgh“I wasn’t a “group fitness” person until I tried Volofit. It’s just different, in the best ways. Workouts are efficient and effective…just an hour a day, a few times a week, and I started seeing details after just a couple weeks. Coaches, staff, and members are super friendly and helpful. Just try it!”
“Was a part of this gym for a year during my stay in Pittsburgh. The gym is clean, well maintained with a wide array of equipments to suit your needs. Also, Sameer is an amazing manager who is always willing to help you with anything and makes good small talks. Overall a great experience and highly recommend this place”

212 44th St, Pittsburgh“Ray is one of the best trainers I have ever worked with. He personalizes each workout and helped me work through several injuries and concerns I had prior to starting. He is engaged in my success, is a great motivator and communicates very effectively. Could not have asked for a better person to work with!”
“WOW! First words that came out of mymouth the moment I walked in. The place was full of energy! Everyone made me feel right at home. I never once felt like I was being judged if I had to do a move slower or change the move. First place I have been that I felt so comfortable on day one!”
“One of the best Corssfit community i've trained with. Amazing place to train, good plans, amazing coaches! It has a lot of parkings si it's easy to visit with car.”
“I love this place. Here is the deal-I am not an athlete and that’s ok.The coaches get that and help me work to my top potential. They customize the training to my level. This gym has two options-1. They have high energy classes that incorporate a little bit of everything from cardio to weight training to coordination drills.2. Semi personal training. It’s a great concept without the costs of a 1-1 trainer. Essentially there is a group of 8-10 students that rotate between eight sections. Each section has two different exercises. The trainers/coaches walk around and show you how to do each set. If you are not doing it correctly or they see an opportunity to improve, they will share with you. If you need a confidence boost, they will cheer for you. I really like this approach as I do not want a personal trainer to watch me every second and this style gives me the perfect amount of independence with support/guidance/motivation if I need it.Notes-1. I love the smoothie bar. Healthy smoothies that are low sugar. Huge perk.2. The coaches are great. They genuinely care and want to push you but are not over the top. They know what I need to work on and customize the workout so I stay safe but keep challenging me to push harder. My main coach is Kristen as she works nights and tends to always be there when I am there. She sold me on Faster and I’m glad she did. The Nicks, Charles, Megan, “T”, Jason, and Matt are all great. They know their stuff and get me through the workout. They really don’t have a bad egg at this place. Each have their own style but work well together.3. They have one of the fancy body analyzers to track your progress. Super interesting and worth trying.4. They work with a caterer if you need a meal plan and also sell their own supplements.Overall this is a good spot who will cater to your level and personality. I trust them fully.”
“This is probably the most laid-back and friendly gym I've ever been to. I've done personal training with both Mike and Blake, and I've benefitted greatly from their assistance and direction.”
“Love love love Level Red Boxing. Finally took the leap a few months ago to try a class. I’ve been going once a week since due to living further north. Erin was super helpful after my first class. She reached out the following day to see if I had any questions and thank us for joining. All of the instructors are great. Seeing as we don’t have a consistent day to go we’ve rotated through a handful. They all have their own unique style and vibe which I love.Great atmosphere and workout if you’re looking to try something new! ??? i usually do the 60 minute class and its a great combination of cardio, boxing, kettlebells and core. Total body workout, who doesn’t love that!”

1625 Penn Ave Suite 101, Pittsburgh“Only great things to say about F45 in the Strip District. If working out is something you struggle to find the motivation to do, definitely give F45 a try. It completely changed my outlook on working out and for the first time I understand why people enjoy it!I've gone to 3 sessions so far. Chase, Emily, and Jordan (trainers) made it the most welcoming environment which was a huge part of me coming back, since I'm typically timid walking into any gym. On top of all of this, I have never had such a great work out/ have never felt so great after a work out.10/10 recommend.”

741 Providence Blvd, Pittsburgh“I just started at Barre Code a few months ago, and I absolutely love it! The classes are full of positivity, and the instructors are wonderful and keep everyone engaged to keep pushing to do their best. I feel the workout each time I go and it makes me want to keep getting better. Such a great community to join, and somewhere you will have fun and be excited to keep coming back!”

1213 Bingham St, Pittsburgh“I decided to reach out to this gym after finding it on Instagram. Coach Adrian called me to talk about my concerns and answered my questions. I am 44 years old and noticed that the home workouts I have always done were not getting me the results that I was looking for. After meeting with Adrian at the gym, I decided to do their 6 week program and have seen major results! I committed to taking classes 3 to 4 times per week and followed the meal plan that was provided for me. In 6 weeks, I feel stronger, I have lost 10 pounds, and my clothes fit better than they have in a long time.I love the variety of class times (they offer 6 class times every weekday!), how every workout feels fun and different, and most of all that I feel challenged and accomplished every time I leave. I am hooked and look forward to where I will be in a other 6 weeks!”
“As someone who hasn't been to a gym or has exercised in well over 2 years, it was extremely intimidating starting. Luckily, I had a friend who started going to Burn at the beginning of the year and she mentioned "bring a buddy" camp. I've wanted to try Burn for a while but wasn't sure if the class setting was for me. This "bring a buddy" camp roped me in and helped me get over the hump of actually going. I loved it so much that I signed up for the 3 week promo and then right into a membership! The trainers are top notch and always pushing you harder. The focus meetings are super helpful too! They really help you narrow down your goals and achieve them, one goal at a time. The campers are a bonus! Everyone is so uplifting and friendly. 10 out of 10!”

4607 Library Rd #200, Bethel Park“I love this studio. It is super clean. The workouts are great. The staff is really friendly, but not in your face. They have a large variety of music for their workouts. I will be going back.”
“The coaches here understand their clientele. The programming is all encompassing with strength, metcon, or both. The owners take pride in their facility and equipment. You’ll notice that upon entering through the door. Overall it’s more than just a place to workout, it’s a place to get healthy through activity and nutrition planning.”
“Had my girls birthday party here it was amazing. The party room was set up for us when we came. The kids had the best time ever. Heather was so nice and always answered my emails so quickly! Now my daughter wants to try this place out for some classes!! Thanks for making my daughters birthday so special”
“The staff and members are amazing ??. Everyone here takes their health and fitness very seriously. You are surrounded by progress, gain, and motivation all around you. Get tough ??”

1130 Perry Hwy, Pittsburgh“I was visiting the area and looking for a gym for the weekend and was recommended this gym and let me say this is hands down one of the best gyms i’ve ever been to!! The price for a day pass is MORE than reasonable. Older and newer equipment but everything was clean and well kept, the atmosphere and people really made the place as well. Definitely going to come back here whenever i’m in the area!”
“I can’t say enough good things about JAM! I went into my first session not knowing what to expect, as I have been intimidated in the past by fitness instructors who either 1) have the perfect body and you think you could never get there 2) it’s just a job to them and they don’t actually care about you as a person. It’s different here. Jon and Matt are different. They explain the why behind everything we do together, they’ve listened to me and helped me through some stressful days. They provided a balance to my life that I didn’t know I was missing and I am forever grateful. If you’re on the fence, just take the plunge. It’s so worth it. I will share one of the most amazing things that happened to me during my journey here - I spent 3 hours building IKEA furniture and I was PAIN FREE while doing it. That was a HUGE deal for me!! I can’t say thank you enough!!!”

251 Mt Nebo Pointe Dr, Pittsburgh“I have been to many gyms due to traveling for work, school, and moving to another state. This gym has topped all of them!! It is so clean and Beth and Mollie are so welcoming and really good at what they do!”
“AMP is such an incredible workout. Every class is something new and challenging. The workout templates are so impressive - you can tell that the coaches are extremely knowledgeable as to what workouts to pair together, in addition to the run cadences on the treadmill. The coaches themselves pay close attention to your capabilities and provide specific advice/encouragement based on your individual needs. It is the best gym out there with positive energy, a great workout, and charitable goals.”
