The Mcdonald dollar general is within walking distance of my place, and I'm very grateful for this seeing as I can't drive due to epilepsy. I am there several times a week. Since the store has what I need at inexpensive prices, I get my cleaning supplies and hygiene products here. The whole staff is always kind and helpful; I look forward to interacting with them.

Of course I lost my receipt.?♀️So I've lived in McDonald for a year and I've always avoided shopping in this store. It was always messy, took forever to get rang out even if no one was in front of you. Rude employees that were high most of the time.I recently needed to go in. You can tell the new management it trying their damnest to get this store fixed, all while being drastically understaffed.She still had boxes to go through, looks like recent shipment, but the store was clean, organized, and stocked to the best of her abilities.I even made a point to tell her I noticed the improvements in the store. I don't remember her name because I lost my receipt, but she did say she was the new store manager. She needs all the praise for what she has accomplished. I can actually start shopping here again, which is great because I'm less less half a mile away.Good job! Keep on doing what you're doing, and I hope you get the help soon!

Freshly remodeled store... lots of new merchandise... new cooler and frozen section. Holiday isles are packed. New birthday/event isle. Friendly staff, local school t-shirts & hoodies sold, always a healthy stock of food and household items. Sometimes low on staff - as stock is sometimes left in the isles - but being a busy store - this sometimes happens. Clean and comfortable location. Great deals for the local area!

Hardly any of the employees were wearing masks and they let customers in without masks. Two employees were arguing in front of the customers.

It is always so.messy. they need to hire more people to stock shelves and clean. Merchandise is always on the sales floor.

I only gave it 1 ⭐ because there was nothing lower!! Dirty, aisles cluttered, and very uninviting. For a store that was recently remodeled I think it degressed (didn't think that was possible) ?
