I gave notice in May that I was vacating my unit, and I did, but I was charged anyway after that. I have been calling and e-mailing them since then for a refund, but they refuse to answer. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau in June, and they are not answering them either (see attached).

My property got damaged due the rain & the storage unit roof leaking, they didn't do nothing to fix the leak when I called 4 times. They did nothing to replace my stuff. I even had the insurance on the storage unit. I even filed a complaint and get to hear anything.

I called the Mayfield office the week of May 5th to inform them I was vacating my storage unit, G-156, on Friday, May 10th, as I was paid through Sunday, May 12th and was moving out of state on Thursday, May 16th. No problem, “Jennifer” said, ”I will walk through and make a note of it on Friday.” When I received a receipt for payment on Monday the 13th anyway, I called again. No problem, Jennifer said, “my assistant did not make a note of it on Friday, but I will personally make sure a credit is issued.” On Wednesday May 15th, the charge appeared on my bank statement, so I called again, and left a message. When Jennifer called back she left a voicemail, that because it had been an automatic payment which they had neglected to cancel, even though I had informed the office in advance, the payment could not be reversed, but a check would be issued. I called again, and left another message to make sure they had my correct address, as I was still moving out of state that week. I never heard back, but I waited and hoped the check would be mailed to me as promised.
Last Monday, June 17th (a month later) I called, and left a voicemail asking if a check had been issued and sent. I did not get a call back. I called again to follow up on Friday, and this time Jennifer answered. I reminded her of my situation, and asked if a check had ever been issued, and if it had been sent to the correct address. She said “it should have been,” and that she would look into it and get back to me. I still have not heard back from her. I drafted and e-mailed this account to the office this past Monday and have not even gotten an acknowledgement. I’m filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau first thing in the morning.

Very poorly ran local storage of the facility. Moved out and could never contact the local manager. Always got a machine answer and never a call back. Requested a call from the regional manager but never got a call back from them either. Always talked to the customer service people who answered when the local site had no one to answer. Got billed for another month, even though I moved out, notified them snd still had a half month left when I left

John was wonderful in helping a family out during a very tragic time for a great price. He was pleasant to work with and we couldn’t be thankful enough for him helping this family during their time of need. The storage units are clean and big enough for all the necessities to fit accordingly!! I will definitely be recommending storage sense.
