Went for some window casing to try and match my Victorian home I recently purchased. Great selection in stock and can custom make anything you need. Staff (owners?) were extremely helpful. Ended up leaving with the casing, chair rails, and ordered new columns for my front porch. Will definitely be using them as I continue my home renovation.

As somebody who has done a fair share of lumber projects ranging from detailed furniture, hand-carved pieces, and projects as large as renovations and new decks, I was excited to support a local and specialized business. Any glimmer of hope I had was immediately extinguished when I set foot in the store. I was unable to find any help better than a preschooler struggling to play with building blocks. Not only did I deal with poor service, but I was questioning my eyesight with all of the knots and poorly milled lumber. The hardwoods were priced like they were during Covid. I had so many splinters from their lumber that I would have been better off high-fiving a family of porcupines. I will still continue to shop local, but I would rather build a family relic out of plywood instead of using anything from Mars Lumber.

I was willing to pay premium for what I had heard was quality wood. Big Mistake. I will never step foot in this place again. If I had to make a slogan for Mars Lumber it would be "Bad Place Bad Wood Bad People". I have never felt hatred in my heart for anything in my many years of life like I feel for Mars Lumber. If you were even thinking about getting wood from Mars Lumber, then I have advice for you: Don't. Everything about this place screams unprofessionalism. From the very start I felt discriminated upon. As soon as I stepped in the door I felt a cold and bitterness that emanates from the very being of Mars Lumber. If I could use two words to describe this establishment those words would be: Pure. Evil. This terrible place is a stain on Capitalism. It is a stain on the American dream. I will never, ever come here again and I hope that you never have to either.

I was excited to purchase lumber from Mars because I heard great things about the company. Unfortunately the service was terrible, I am extremely unhappy with my purchase. Mars sucks. Do not purchase anything from here as the people here have no heart and do not give a damn about their customers. I am eagerly awaiting the day Mars closes its doors. The “man” helping me buy faulty wood appeared to be under the influence on the job, either that or he is flat out retarded. Mars is a joke of an organization.

Great place to get a wide variety of hardwoods, including high quality rough cut stock such as maple and walnut. They are always helpful and friendly.

We bought lumber from Mars Lumber to build a raised bed garden. They Calculated the amount of lumber to a T. Very nice people very happy with our dealings.

I’m at a loss for words right now. I don’t even know where to begin, except by saying that this pathetic excuse for a business has to be run by toddlers with mental issues, because toddlers in a competent mind state would be more successful in running a place of business. I would rather spend 50 years living remotely in northern Siberia in an igloo than ever step foot in this sorry establishment again. If I was given the option to either provide business to Mars Lumber, or spend 100 days at sea on a makeshift life raft fending off sharks and living off of occasional rainwater and raw seagulls, I’d choose the latter in a heartbeat. To me this wouldn’t even be a dilemma to evaluate, the better option is abundantly clear. If Mars lumber was the last lumber establishment in the world, I would build my house out of cardboard and straws. These are more reliable materials than the products of Mars lumber anyway. If you are building a dining room table and are considering doing business with this “establishment,” I would recommend eating on the floor instead. There is only one business on earth that is close to being as poorly ran as Mars lumber. This is a sentence I will never say. There is no comparison. I trust R. Kelly serving me a drink on an elevator ride with Ray Rice more than I trust Mars Lumber.

Great selection of hardwoods but pretty slow on the customer service front. Will definitely be back but also keep in mind everything takes a little more time than one might like.
